This scarf (from a different seller) came up a few weeks ago and Hyacinth, some other people, and I all thought it was fake. We've never seen a real Coach scarf with the font that this one uses. The font looks wrong. Whenever Coach has made a scarf with the word "Coach" on it, it has always been with a border around it the word Coach. I see this scarf occasionally on eBay and every time I see it, it just doesn't look right to me.

Can't help you on the authenticity, but, that bottom line you mentioned says made in the United States

I got my Hamptons Weekend Patchwork Hobo and I took a picture of the creed.
How does it look to you guys? It's stamped on but it doesnt look super deep.
Is that bad?
I took it into a coach store to get a dust bag for it since it didnt come with one and the lady there looked at it and didnt say anything bad. I was hoping you guys could fill me in more!
Oh and it doesnt look really legible in this picture, but you can definitely read the words in person though.

Maybe a Made in the United States? I managed to make out "United States" as the last 2 words.

It's perfectly genuine, a City Bag from 1996. That's what the older creeds in the American-made bags are supposed to say.

I just compared it to my Weekend Patchwork Shoulder Satchel style 10452 and the creeds are exactly alike, down to the depth of the stamping. Three other photos of three different bags from the same line have the same stamping. Your creed looks fine, check out the other ones on Ebay:

Can someone please tell me if this is authentic? I thought I remembered this having braided straps with small tassels on the end....
This might have been made just for the outlets, but I don't remember what the straps looked like.
But what worries me a little is that the seller apparently sold the same bag on May 5th and mentions the same red or pink mark on the bag in both listings. No Feedback was ever left for the first auction either. There may be a perfectly legitimate reason but it's something that makes me wonder.
