I'm pretty sure this is illegal. You can report it by clicking the 'Report this post' link at the bottom of the page.

Here is information about authorized retailers from Coach's website:
http://www.coach.com/cservice/FaqTemplate.aspx?faq_id=21

Who is authorized to sell Coach product?
Coach ONLY offers its merchandise for sale through the following methods of distribution: (1) Coach stores, (2) Coach factory stores, (3) Coach catalogues, (4) authorized department stores, (5) authorized specialty stores and catalogues, (6) limited duty free locations, and (7) on the internet at coach.com.

Coach DOES NOT offer its merchandise for sale through individuals, street vendors, unauthorized retail locations, at house parties, or any website other than www.coach.com. For authorized distributors, see our online Store Locator.

Please use the Coach anti-counterfeiting hotline to report counterfeiters and unauthorized distributors of Coach merchandise at 1-800-396-1807.

Unfortunately, Coach cannot accept returns of counterfeit merchandise.

This is fake.

What's the usual policy for getting a refund when something is fake? She included a note with the keychain saying if I'm not happy I can return it and once she receives it she'll refund. I sent her two e-mails and no response (it's been 1 day, so not too long). Can I return it and then request the full cost of the keychain plus my return shipping costs?

Hi! I think mine got skipped last time. Will you please take a look at it? Thank you!!!

If you paid with a credit card through Paypal, you can do a chargeback on your credit card. You can also file a SNAD (Significantly Not As Described) claim with Paypal and eBay. Is the seller still an active eBay member?

What, exactly, does that mean? I'm not super familiar with outlet buying because there isn't one near me.

I just came from the outlet and the handbag is selling for $78, the umbrella for $38 and the wallet I think was somewhere around $40. The handbags are really a deal right now for $78...

Outlet items are always authentic. See pzold's response above for some helpful pricing info on these items.

I just checked right now, and she's no longer a registered user. :push: Can I still file the SNAD?

Thanks for your help, btw. I've been lucky... this is the first time I've purchased a fake on ebay (and I'm also lucky that it's just a keychain!). Still... Not fun.

WOW! they kicked the seller off quick...You have nothing to loose by filing a SNAD PayPal claim right away and as Starrymaz said ...do a charge back on your credit card. I had this happen with bootleg software, and PayPal reinbursed me. I had to return the item at my expense and send the delivery confirmation documentation to PayPal.

Here is the link to PayPal's Buyer Protection Information http://pages.ebay.com/help/tp/paypal-protection.html

Good Luck!

This is fake.

If Ebay already contacted you, there may be instructions in the mail about how to get your money back. Contact Paypal Immediately and begin a SNAD claim, or follow whatever instructions are in the email. Since the item was fake, they have to refund your money.

I haven't heard anything from ebay since this morning's e-mail about removing the listing (which didn't say much other than that I am no longer obligated to purchase the item - a little too late for that)... I didn't realize ebay was the one who kicked her off, I thought she had maybe scammed a bunch of people and then shut down her account? But yeah, wow, ebay moves fast!

I began a SNAD claim on paypal just now. EDIT: I though I had paid with my credit card, but it actually came out of my checking account... can I call my bank and have them do a chargeback? Or will that not work? :\

Thanks everyone!
