Authenticate This Coach

Can someone let me know if this is a real charm...I looked at the ones on the coach website and the one on the website is a diff color and is silver. I hope I didn't get ripped off on this.

Can someone check this Coach for me? I recently purchased it from a friend of a friend. Says Made in China and the serial # checks out from what I can tell. I cannot get a good pic of the serial number, but I can type it here if that helps?

Sorry, this is fake. A few clues: the C alignment is off, the hardware and turnlocks are wrong, the fake leather trim, among other things.... I hope you can get a refund!

Sorry, this is fake. A few clues: the C alignment is off, the hardware and turnlocks are wrong, the fake leather trim, among other things.... I hope you can get a refund!

Oh well. So if the C's touch that's how you know? They are awfully close to the photo on the coach page. It is feels and smells like real leather.

See how the seam on the front of the bag is off-center? It should line up in center of the C's. None of the hardware on the Carly should say "Coach" on it. The hardware should be solid brass and should feel heavy and substantial, not light and hollow.

Not if the C's touch, but if you look at the seam and then see that the C's are skewed to one side. And if you look at the creed, it is sewed on there sloppy.

Looks good to me! This is from last season when the hardware was brass. The letter charms out this spring have nickel (silver-tone) hardware.

Looks good to me! This is from last season when the hardware was brass. The letter charms out this spring have nickel (silver-tone) hardware.
