Yes, a real bag would never say "Made in Italy" on a paper tag like the one in your picture. I see a lot of those street vendors selling fake Coach bags with those paper tags that say "Made in Italy."

I hope you can get a refund!

well unfortunatly i dont see a refund so i guess i am stuck with them i thought i was getting a decend deal on something nice for my self for a change but well that goes with the kind of luck my husband and i have or i sould say the bowles name lol i married in to the bad luck. i had never bought a purse for more than prob 20 dollars and well we got our state taxes back and had some money for a change o well :( but the white one says made in italy on the inside but it did not have a tag and it is not like a regular square creed.

I'm soooo sorry this happened to you! Don't be too hard on yourself. Many people have gone through the same thing. At least now you know what to look for, and if you ever have any questions, there are many of us here who are glad to help! :smile1:

I was assuming (aka ass of...well you know the rest) that the creed was fake since it wasn't imprinted like all the others I have seen before. I'm trying to educate myself on Coach since I've only bought Dooney's before. Oh well, guess I have some learning to do :wlae:

I realize I should have posted this here... hope you ladies can help.

I just (finally!) found an Ergo signature swingpack in the black with the black strap. There is a leather creed inside, but no numbers on it. I think I read about this in another post but I can't find it.

Is this normal or should I be concerned?

All looks good on the swingpack in terms of alignment, tag, etc. I just purchased it at my TJ Maxx as part of their designer event.

Thanks in advance.

really? works for me...but
download

sorry for being a n00b and putting up such a big picture

Hi,
I don't know if this is the right place to post this. I recently filed a claim with Paypal on a fake coach ergo tote I bought on ebay and the email I got from them said I may have to provide a letter of inauthenticity from an expert. Does anybody know how I can do that on line or otherwise?

Thanks,
Maria

I wouldn't be too concerned. Smaller items, such as swingpacks and pouches, may or may not have creeds with serial numbers on them. You could post a pic of the creed here if you want.
