  • FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:
    Item:

  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.
Thank you and be safe!

They used to use a different tag when the returned item's style number wasn't known, but that was quite a while ago so it's not surprising that they changed it. I don't see any problem with the keyfob itself.

I agree that the fob is authentic but the tag is strange and the UPC code doesn't even seem to be correct for Coach.

I've seen store-made tags as well as tags for which they don't know the style number but neither looks like the one in the listing.

This is the UPC code for the reindeer keychain. "86382" indicates Coach and "34523" is specific for the reindeer:
Thanks. It seemed off to me. I was pretty sure the fob was okay and I don't recall seeing this seller with fakes, but I was afraid to purchase it.

Thanks also for the lesson on UPC codes. It makes sense but it didn't occur to me that part of the code would be the same for all Coach products.

I believe this is real, please confirm. Also, do you happen to know how new/old it is and the name, if any?

Item: Coach Taupe Leather Convertible Crossbody/Satchel Purse in Wonderful Condition

Please refer to post #1 for the pictures that are needed.

Particular note this sentence:
"Since mid-2014, Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds so in newer bags where the creeds don't have serial numbers, we also need to see pictures of the labels/tags from inside the bag. They are either both in the main open part sewn into the seam of the lining, or one might be buried deep inside the zipper pocket. One shows where made and the other has a serial number."

Welcome to both of you!

I'm looking for opinions on this bag as well as this new bonanza seller.

There are several things that bother me, not the least of which is that the seller is located in the counterfeit capital of the world, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China!

In the following listing, I see nothing that indicates that the bag is Coach and if it's "marked" as Coach, there's no creed to see if the serial number is NT6035, as shown in the listing. (This could also be an inventory control number they use.)

Title: Men Genuine Leather Casual coach Backpack Messenger Shoulder Travel Satchel
Bonanza Seller - bonzuser_nljfe
Bonanza - http://www.bonanza.com/listings/Men...k-Messenger-Shoulder-Travel-Satchel/321199609

Also on ebay - but it's interesting that the ebay listing doesn't describe it as "Coach:"
Ebay seller - teemzoneaowang
Ebay listing - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Men-Genuine...518729?hash=item2a61357109:g:A5gAAOSw9r1V-RtQ

Same seller, again with Coach in title but not a Coach brand item.

I'm actually suspecting that this is simply KWS but will await confirmation.

I don't see Coach at all on the first two. The brand is named as Teemzone. The last one looks like keyword spamming, but it might be inadvertent, as in it could be used by a coach.

Thanks. I don't think it's a mistake though because both Bonanza listings show "Coach" in titles but NONE of his ebay listings do it. That means he'd have had to edit the Bonz ones after importing them in order to get Coach into the titles.

I can't tell you if it is authentic, but the style appears to be Madison Leather Smythe 32405. It was made sometime after mid 2014. If you get the seller to provide a picture of the strip with the creed number, we can confirm.

interesting. I missed the word Coach in the title of the first one. Does Bonanza ban keyword spamming? Maybe he thought he could get away with it on Bonanza but not on ebay, or maybe it was already reported on ebay and he relisted it there. Can you tell how long the listings have been on Bonanza?

Yes, I was able to get the seller to find the little tag and I believe they have added the picture to the listing.

Thank you!

Yes, I was able to get the seller to give me the information. They have also updated their listing so you have been a BIG help to us both!

Thank you!

1. Bonz doesn't have quite the same reporting functions as ebay but they don't advocate and allow misleading key words. I've reported by email rather than through the listing.
2. You can see when a recent listing was posted. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the listing page and just about the seller's other listings, the "Listing Details" show the date listed as February 11

I bought this. Someone pointed out to me that it is yellow but every one we've seen is white. I can't believe I didn't notice. The yellow is patent leather. Everything about it matches my other Penelope fobs.

Could just be a change made for the Japanese market, like the brown and white Cow keychains instead of black and white like the ones sold in the US. Yellow Calla Lilies symbolize joy and change in Japan, I coudn't find a meaning for the white ones.
