I can't find a lot of info about this style but I THINK it's style number is 9922. This makes some sense to me because the Megan style 9921 is geometric in design like this one. This bag would have to be pre-1994 since it doesn't have the style number, rather it has a random serial.

I was unsure of it's authenticity because I saw quite a few believable counterfeits of the classic styles (Willis, City, etc.) at this store. Also, I haven't seen any bags with zippers in a contrasting color to the leather such as this one.

I went ahead and purchased it because it didn't break the bank, the shape is unique, and the leather is super nice. Any information is appreciated!! (Especially catalog photos. I LOVE those!)

It IS style 9922, and was called a Cooper Zip. Some other bags from. that time period also have what Coach called "industrial-style zippers" mounted in a denim-color fabric. Here's Coach's picture from their 1993 catalog:

Yay! Thank you so much (love the catalog photo)! I found that style number on a random eBay listing, but they didn't have a name or any other info. It surprises me that when you google the style and the name only one or two pictures of it come up. That's why this forum rocks! Thanks again!

Comments: I think this is a counterfeit that is trying to pretend to be a Madison Spence bag? I can sorta read "Made in Korea" on the creed. If it is a fake, it's the first time I've seen one for one of the vintage Italian lines.

1- I haven't seen it before. Wait for more opinions. The only ones I've seen have either enamel or pave cherries. Too many fake keychains use snapheads with some kind of cheap glass insert..

2- not in my records, wait for more opinions.

I usually don't keep dates for keychains. They're not like purses, where the year is part of the serial number.

I did a bit more comparing of blissroad's butterfly (valet) vs. the similar style butterfly (charm) and the differences further cause me to believe that blissroad 's item is fake.

1. The signature pattern is uneven, i.e., parts are thick and parts are thin vs. uniform size in the authentic version.
2. The lozenge hang tag looks too pointed at the hole end.
3. The upper set of wings don't extend high enough nor are they large enough.
4. Although Coach may have made similar items in different colors, the authentic butterfly charm was gold

I've blown up the lozenges so they're a bit grainy but I wanted to show the difference I'm seeing.

I don't think the butterfly is authentic.
