Genuine Pocket Purse style 9755 from around 1992-93. The seller's calling it Charcoal but I'm pretty sure it's just a slightly faded Black.

To add - tying a strap in a knot not only can permanently damage the strap or can disguise other damage, but it can also keep us from seeing if the strap has been shortened at some time especially when the pics of the strap don't show the full length and any details that would show alteration.

ETA - There's no indication that this one has that kind of problem, but a lot of older straps have been shortened and buyers need to check all photos carefully. I'm NOT a fan of tying straps in knots either, and would never buy one. JMO.

Hi all!
I need to list a few of my used Coach bags to make a little money. Before I list them, I really want to make sure they are all authentic because I can't remember what was brought from where (some new, some thrift, some gifts, etc.)
Any help would be appreciated! I don't know the names of any of these but I tried to get good pictures and some accurate measurements (though I wasn't sure from which point to which point to measure so I approximated.) I tried repeatedly to upload photos directly into the thread with no success so I created a photobucket album specifically for these (sooooo much effort! But, worth it because I really don't want to sell anything fake!)

Approx. 12"LX 7"H Serial J04U-9363 Grey with Black Signature C and leather handles and trimming. Leather tassle- which got wet so it's a little wild now, and YKK stamped on the zippers.

Approx. 12"L X 7.5H Serial A0779-F08A09 Black leather with two front snap pockets and expandable snaps on each side. I forgot to remove the scarf that I added in a few of the pictures but went back and subsequently took some without it. Doesn't have any signature C anywhere but does have small "Coach" written on the buckles of the hardware and had YKK zippers stamped inside and out.

LOL! Some people will think I'm nuts but I have a comment.

I believe the wallet in the listing is okay however I am anal in my record-keeping when I report sellers' listings. erin8969 had a fake Coach wallet that was reported in the past.
