I don't have the exact name, but it's a small pebbled leather Hamptons Hobo made in 2004.

It's authentic from 2004. I don't know the exact name but it's something like a Hamptons perforated pebbled leather hobo.

ETA: I think it's a Hamptons leather small hobo:
LOL! I swear I didn't see your post when I responded!

I bought the Oliver bag with the shortened backwards strap:
Thank you all who helped me out with that: beenburned, catbird9, whateve, Hyacinth....

I did manage to turn the strap by prying apart the gold pieces that attach it to the purse. Now it is at least on the correct way.

I purchased it off of eBay for $27.77 from a seller that has very few sales.

I am ok with the shorter strap & since it was so little money I will keep it. I am using it for personal use not to resell.

I will let the seller know about the issue.

Thanks again, Christine

Hi there!

Can someone authenticate this creed? Thanks!!

Some Coach authenticity guides say that unreadable/faded creeds are considered to be a red flag. Would you agree? For example, the bag in this listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Black-9870-Leather-Bag-/172050989756

The creed is very faded on the right side - does that meant the bag is not authentic?

A creed can't be authenticated without photos of the rest of the bag.

And no, just because a creed is more "faded" or maybe worn down? on one side doesn't mean it's fake.

What color is this called?

Also is there a way to find out the year it was made? I don't think the creed from these earlier bags tell me. (Is that correct)
