Please give me feedback on this purse. In your opinion is it authentic.
I want to bid. I am purchasing for myself. I am not sure about the closure, it might drive me a little crazy to have to unbuckle & buckle it to get in & out of it.

Seller: station_85

Thanks in advance, Christine

I think the bag is okay although that closure would drive me crazy!

However before deciding whether to do business with station_85, you might want to check out her toolhaus feedback which shows MANY complaints, much of it describing items being in worse condition than pictured and described!

There is a slot to put the tab when you're not using it, then you can just leave the flap open. It looks okay that way.

Please authenticate this bag if possible. I'm curious about the style name and approximate date of manufacture if it's authentic. Thank you!

Really lousy pictures! It might be an early version of the dinky bag. I'd want to see what the sides look like where the clips attach. Based on the Coach imprint, it looks like it is from the early 70s.

I know, a "roll of the dice" shopgoodwill find. I will follow up when the bag arrives. Thanks, whateve!

Just arrived: a nice surprise for Christmas! :D

This little black bag appears to have spent the last 40 years tucked in a drawer! Leather is very soft, brass shiny, no verdigris. Anchors on the brass trigger snaps. Tiny Coach cartouche stamped in the suede, can't get it to show up on my camera. One zip pocket inside.

Measures 8.5" x 5" x 1.5"
Strap drop about 15"

Lucky you! It looks like an early dinky. Odd that they stamped the cartouche in the suede, but I've seen this a couple of times.

Could someone please authenticate this Coach Leatherware bag?
From shopgoodwill.com...only my 2nd burgundy bag in all my years of collecting :)
Approx. 9"w at top x 7.5"w x 2.5"d. Strap 20" to rings.
Early 90's Paris Bag #4100, yes? Lightweights collection, right?
I have her larger cousin in navy and catalog images from when it was authenticated.
Thanks in advance, as always!

Happy holidays, all! I'd like to have this bag authenticated... the silver hardware is throwing me off as I'm used to seeing gold.

Thank you!
it's fine. Coach started using nickel hardware on their classic styles around 1998. This one was made in 2000, so it isn't really vintage.
