Hello! Could someone please authenticate this wallet? From a thrift store. It looks like it matches my black Tribecca tote so maybe part of the Tribecca line from late 90's?

Hi!! I got 2 coach purses in a thrift store I don't know nothing about the I will like to see if the are original. They look kind of vintage. And it doesn't have any letters just numbers. 153-009
It Also says sports coach
The other one says
NoM61-9983

We need a full set of photos of the second bag, the one that DOESN'T say Sports Coach, please read Post # One for the correct format to use. A serial number by itself can NEVER prove a "Coach" is genuine. Be sure to include clear readable photos showing the full creed stamp and serial number.

If you have that Sports Coach bag listed for sale at Etsy or Ebay, remove or change the listing if you're calling it a Coach. Sports Coach has NO connection to Coach and the bags were made in Korea in violation of Coach's U.S. trademark, and as they almost always did, when Coach took them to court the Korean court ruled in favor of the Korean company.

Hello Ladies

Does anyone by any chance have a pic of the Fall 1997 Sonoma color swatches?

I just bought this bag and was wondering what the color is called....

Thanks!

Thanks for checking & the fast reply Hyacinth!

How weird that the catalogue doesn't show this color....
It was made in Dec 1997 (L7M-4316) - could this have ended up in a 1998 catalogue?
Just curious!

The Holiday 1997 catalog shows a color called Marigold but it doesn't really look like your photo.

Those oddball Sonomas with numbers starting with 43** may have been sold on the stores in Spring of 1998 but they didn't make it into the Spring or Early Spring 1998 catalogs. Holiday 1997 is the last time I can find any listings for the Sonoma line.

There was a color called camel in Spring 1997. Wheat was another 1997 color. There was also Buff but I don't know what year that was from.
1st picture shows wheat, 2nd camel, third buff. I think yours is probably wheat.

Too bad it isn't marigold, I LOVE that color.
Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the pics whateve, very helpful, will add to my collection!
I think you're right, based on the catalogue it's wheat.

(The wheat swatch for spring 1997 from wayback that I have tho is so dark;
seems like the catalogue is the truer source of color info.)

Thanks whateve & Hyacinth for your help!

Sports Coach is not a Coach product.

As NSP posted, the "sports coach" isn't Coach and is considered to be counterfeit.

Are those your own pictures of your items? One picture was taken from an Etsy listing and the other from an ebay listing.
(This is the ebay listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ladies-Vint...ss-Body-Purse-with-Handle-9983-/151901493731? )
and
(This is the Etsy listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/238888321/vintage-coach-bag-purse-black-leather?ref=market )

Regarding the above ^^^^ they obviously aren't the bags you have in your possession since they're from different sellers and neither is "sports Coach."

For the other bag (and the images shown), you need to show your own pictures of the actual bag including a clear and legible picture of the creed.

Not to worry, Hyacinth. Those aren't her listings. I think the pictures were "borrowed" to show the supposed styles. (see my post above.)

Comments: I'm pretty sure this is fake, but ebay never seems to believe me when I report things.
Yes, it's fake and for the viewing enjoyment of our followers, I'll post the creed from bulletbobhasit's listing.
