Please follow the following requests:

  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Hoping to get good news in this buy. Now in my possession.

Item: Flap shoulder bag/crossbody, pocket in the back. Teal nubuc and leather, with tan strap. It measures about 8.5 x 9.5 inches. Shoulder piece on the strap. Antique brass color hardware.

Comments: Searching for the style number, I couldn't find anything (may be I missed it). But I was told the M means it was a sample sale.... Please help and thank you as usual for your patience.

It's authentic although I've never heard of a sharpie marking of "M" for sample sales.

I can't find a style name for that bag but I found several other metro flap bags and a legacy flap bag from 2004. I believe this one might be Chelsea.

Hopefully someone might have a catalog with the bag.

You can post clothing or any other Coach items in this thread. It's much better than posting the same question in 2 different places. When in doubt, read the first post in the topic - it says "Coach items", not just Coach purses. We try to discourage double-posting unless one of the Mods or thread regulars thinks it's necessary.

BTW, I answered your question at the other thread.

We always need to see the actual creed and serial number. Just reading the number in print can't prove anything, we need to see all the details and fonts of the stamping of both the number and the creed.

I don't have a name for it either but it's definitely from the Chelsea Nubuc line, probably considered a Swingpack.
