Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number

  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read

The measurements don't quite match anything in my files, at least for height - try stuffing the bag to fill it out a bit and then stand it up on a flat surface to see if it's less square and more rectangular when you do. The height measurement given by Coach for the only style it might be shows 5 3/4 inches high. Always try to stuff bags a bit before measuring or taking photos so it more resembles the way Coach photographed their bags for the catalogs and website. You don't need to post a photo, just smoosh it down a bit so it stands upright and see if it's a bit less square.

The Springlock clasp is genuine, BTW. The bag looks like a Chrystie Bag from the early 1990s

This is only my second time purchasing a purse from Ebay, so I would really appreciate it if someone would help me authenticate this bag. It just arrived today and is in a good condition; however, the weight of the purse is a bit lighter than I thought it would be.

I think the belt is okay but those pictures are way too small to see much.

The heart charm is authentic.

It's a genuine Madison Spence Bag probably made in 1993

There are many problems. An authentic creed never starts with the letter "w." Even though I can't really read the entire number, I can definitely see that "w." The measurements are wrong for the style. The shape looks wrong. The front flap is the wrong shape.

The seller has a bunch of misinformation about how to identify authentic Coach, which proves she doesn't know how to spot a fake.

The style number is 9755 for a Pocket Purse but that fake also has at least 2 major details never found on genuine Pocket Purses.

I won't even dignify that BS they have the nerve to call "Coach authenticity" information with a comment.

Hyacinth said it beautifully of her opinion of specialblendfan but I have a bit to add.

For a seller who claims "I only sell authentic Coach bags so you can rest assure that this bag is real and for a great price!! I have plenty of feedback from extremely happy Coach customers💖...and other very satisfied buyers!!!!" she's not as honorable as she wants us to believe since my records show that she had a fake Coach bag reported and removed in June, 2015. That fake bag had a plant code of P but stated that it was made in the US.

This "knowledgeable" seller spews more misinformation than helpful info!
