One thing that makes me think it might not be fake is actually the creed stamp itself. Here are pics of the questionable creed, followed by several apparently genuine bags from the Italy plant. It looks like they're all exactly the same stamp, once you allow for the possibly softer leather on the questionable patch.

Adding bigger pic of the white Questionable creed

I sent BB photos of the white Brooklyn 7466 that I sold. She has the time and patience to do the blow by blow match ups and split images. Of course mine was made in China. I have also sold the bag in metallic and mahogany. The front hardware pulls the bag down. The clip should be antique brass and very thick. Not sure what I am seeing in the listing.

What's with the big empty space above "Coach" that isn't as large on the other patch?
Would the 8-year age difference make for that much variation?

Will be back with comps.

A mistake at the plant? A pilot bag, which would explain why there are a few differences? And maybe it didn't have a serial number assigned to it yet. A sample to be used by the China plant? I don't know. But unless the Italian plant threw one of their creed stamps in a dumpster and someone found it and made an almost perfect copy of that bag (or someone at the plant actually sold the die to a counterfeiter!) there's no way for me to explain those creed similarities. I'm not even talking about where the creed was placed, I'm talking about the actual minute details of the stamp itself.

What I'm saying is that I think there's a small-ish but reasonable chance that it may be genuine. JMO.

There was a similar Legacy line before the 2006 one but it did not have the Brooklyn. Somewhat similar bags to the other ones in the 7466 line. Maybe the Italy one was a pilot but it still does not explain the creed lacking the numbers.

I realize many bags made in Italy did not have numbers but I was wondering about the time frame for this bag . All the others I found had a made in China stamp & was quite different from this one. I just found it odd this one would be made in Italy. Any light you can shed on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks as always!

I am not comfortable with it at all. I would avoid it. For all of e reasons the others have given. I have sold this bag and I have carried it. This one does not pass my test.

With the comparison pictures showing the side-by-sides, I'm seeing some big differences.

Pictures 1, 2, and 3 show wchris2013 's bag compared to NSP's. I didn't post the creeds because there was a comp post above.

Pictures 4 and 5 show wchris2013 's bag as compared to another 7466 currently listed on ebay. This one is the same color.

This is a listing for an authentic bag used for some of my comps.

Hi all, this is my first time requesting an authentication.

I have a concern that my Park Carrie tote may not be authentic as I cannot find a serial number anywhere. It does not appear on the creed or on any tag inside. I purchased on ebay last year and it feels and looks very real. I've owned Coach all my life, but it bothers me that I cannot find a serial number.

I know that some outlet bags don't have a serial on the creed as I have a large Margo that doesn't, but the serial number does appear on a small tag inside the lining and I know its real because I purchased at a Coach outlet store.

I also have researched here and Vietnam is a production country for some Coach but would like to hear your opinions on authenticity.

Thank you!!!!

Unzip the inside pocket and look in there. I'm guessing that the small white label with a serial number is sewn into the seam.
