Hello, fellow Coach fans!

I'm searching for a good bag to take to and from the office every day that can stand up to the rigors of a daily commute on the subway and frequently inclement weather. I love my vintage Stewardess - thanks again for the authentication on that a few years back - but need something a bit bigger.

If one of you has a moment, could you please take a look at the following?

1.
Item: Coach Vintage Lexington Business Briefcase Laptop Travel Attache Messenger 5265

Seller: ljuls165
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Vinta...13-2128-EUC-/121765864404?hash=item1c59cfa3d4
Comments: Is this the larger Plaza Court style? The others I've seen online seem to be several inches smaller.

3.
Item: VINTAGE COACH BLACK LEATHER MESSENGER BAG # 1212-321 USA

Seller: laceymike

Comments: It seems like the dimensions are off for this one. Would this style really be 11" x 9" x 9"?

TIA for taking a look!
Neither the Plaza bag nor the Willis are going to be bigger than a stewardess. Have you considered a Sonoma, Dakota, or Sheridan? These will be more waterproof and damage-proof than glove-tanned leather.

Hi ladies,

I thought I bought this, which I should've had authenticated before I purchased
Item Name: Lage Tan Coach Bucket Bag
Item No: 321863313331
Seller: dave56
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lage-Tan-Coach-Bucket-Bag-/321863313331?_trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140723144412%26meid%3D13c8374dec4949fd9c43448bc9473522%26pid%3D100275%26&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=pjpfj3Ie8s5J5VS10rs4HY19FyY%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

But not authenticating beforehand didn't make a difference because I received this, which is clearly not the same bag (missing those stains, different serial #)

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?u...tt&th=1500a7578c002000&attid=0.1&disp=safe&zw

Can someone tell me what I ended up with and if it's real?
Thanks!!

Your Google links aren't working. You can't link to your email account, you have to save the photos to your computer or to a photo hosting site like Photobucket.

The seller's Feedback shows 3 Neutrals and 4 Negatives, all in the last month and for non-receipt and items in much worse condition than described. That's a sign that something has gone seriously wrong recently

Contact the seller, but from the recent FB I'd also suggest filing a SNAD dispute immediately. The item sounds like it was TOTALLY not as described. If the seller wants you to return it you shouldn't have to pay postage either.

Is this the bag you received? This was sold the same day as your purchase.

This one was sold on Sept. 22. (Your listing was sold on Sept. 13.)

Or it might have been one of the other Coach bags he sold:

Just tried uploading a couple pictures - let me know if they show up.

Both bags look genuine, probably Duffle Sacs judging just by the seller's measurements.

The seller had two other almost identical bags that also just sold, this one went for $35:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Coach...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

and this one, which is the one you received, "Huge Coach Bag Tan", item number 321864390384 sold on 9-13 for $50
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Huge-Coach-...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

The one you apparently bid on was # 321863313331, "Lage Tan Coach Bucket Bag" sold for $20

I' don't know if they're both the same style since the measurements aren't the same and the seller didn't show or list the serial number of the "English leather" bag. Double check your bidding record on your Ebay Summary page to be sure about which bag you bid on and to see if you were sent the wrong bag.

A seller with so many similar items had better have some kind of system to tell them apart. You might have accidently ended up with someone else's purchase. The seller also might have mixed up the photos when he listed the bags.

All three seem to be genuine although the "English Leather" one doesn't have a creed photo. I think you need to work this out with the seller after you've double-checked which one you bid on. At least one of his other purchasers might have questions about their bag too.

Item: Black Leather Coach Drawstring Bag

http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxMjAw/z/a1YAAOSwWnFWBxUk/$_10.JPG?set_id=880000500F

Comments: Prior to bidding I asked the seller for a photo of the creed and serial number, who seemed willing to do so "tomorrow" so I went ahead and bid, ended up winning. I finally received the photo today but it's very unclear, however knowing the style number of Lulu is 9952 and this seems to show a last digit of 0 I'm very hesitant to submit payment now. I've asked seller to type out the creed and serial number.

Any help appreciated!!

Edit: seller has just told me the serial number is T8T-9980. Creed says made in the US. I think it is a fake :(

The seller dave56 was discussed above. I agree, ask the seller to cancel the sale. Even without being able to read the creed, I was worried about other details.

If you scroll up starting at post #9657, there was some discussion about that seller earlier today. Besides the fact that his feedback is terrible, he's careless in knowing which bags were sold to which buyers. And his pictures are terrible!

I was going to say that as bad as the pictures are, you confirmed what I thought I'd read in the creed pictures. I saw the "T" and the 0 at the end of the style number but couldn't read the rest.

The bag is fake and personally, I'd avoid dave56.

I just finished reading that post and he definitely is not the most organized seller... But at least those other bags were all authentic. I'm a little surprised because I honestly haven't seen a fake Lulu and didn't think that style was even faked! Glad I was cautious this time :)

Even styles you wouldn't think have been faked, probably have. Certain factories are less likely to be faked - Turkey and Costa Rica. What I always look at is the covers of the ends of the drawstrings. On most Lulas, these aren't sewn across the top. I found one on ebay made in Costa Rica that is sewn across the top, but in that case, just like most other Coach drawstrings of the same era, the stitching isn't straight across - it dips down in the center, following the curve of the cut-out. Counterfeiters usually sew it straight across, like in the bag in dave56's listing.

Oh wow thank you so much! That is golden advice, I never would have noticed it!! Also it is Lula not Lulu? :what:
