Item: Vintage Coach leather bag green
Listing number: 261737876476

Comments: I hope it is real, I would like to get it (if I can) to rehab. I have to start somewhere, as my vintage collection (almost vintage included) is only one bag so far.
It's an authentic Monterey hobo. Joodlz has rehabbed one. She might be able to advise you. Personally, I've found these Lightweights much more difficult to rehab.

(argh! Why do sellers post blurry pictures and then an almost identical clearer picture next?)

I need better photos for the first listing. I don't think all three creeds are posted and I don't know which one goes with which bag. The numbers posted in the listing don't match the photos. I would also like a clearer picture of the back of the turnlocks.

Last one (for now!):
The almost worn out creed reads 5825-913

Thank you! :smile1:
I guess I am happy it is authentic, but now I do not know if I should get it to rehab, because I have not done it before. I liked it because I like green bags :p
It is not like "I must have" this one, so would you recommend I wait for something else?

Lightweights are hard to rehab and not particularly rewarding, so if you haven't rehabbed before I would recommend you wait for a green classic leatherware bag to come along. JMHO.

I agree with Two.time.bags. The leather never gets glowing like on classic bags and the dyes they used faded terribly. The easiest rehabs are bags from the late 90s in my opinion.

Thank you, thank you!

Thanks to both of you, I will pass then, plenty fish in the see of bags.... ;)
You're welcome!
Hi, everyone! It's been awhile. I was hoping someone could shed light on this listing for me. The seller says the patch is pebbled leather. Could that be right. I like the colour of this purse.

Thanks for any info.
I don't see anything that would make me think it was fake, but I've never seen a NYC creed that was pebbled. When you look at the interior picture, the pocket looks very pebbled. I've seen some pebbling on NYC bags but it wasn't intentional. It's possible that Coach used the worst piece of leather for the pocket.
