It's authentic. An all-numeric creed number doesn't have any meaning. You can't see date of manufacture in it. This was made before Coach started using numbers that mean anything. It was made 1989-1993, so it's possible it was made in 1991, but the "1" is just a coincidence.

G was a valid plant code for US for a short time. You won't see very many. There are a lot of fakes with a G code. I think this one looks good.
