• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I'm sorry but the bag is fake.

But that the style number doesn't match the bag is only one of the problems. Also, keep in mind that many fakes have "correct" style numbers, that is, the fakers copied the genuine item more closely.

Whoever informed you is correct.

Thank you so much for your expertise. I had a nagging feeling after she said it was fake. If not too busy, would love to know what I should spot.

Thank you. They said it was authentic. The store is called Courage my Love in Kensington market, Toronto Ontario. Is that illegal in Canada as well?

It's authentic. I believe it is a Mercer bag #4131 from the lightweights collection, made around 1993.

My gut feeling is that this bag is fake. I bought it, but it just didn't feel right and I forgot to authenticate beforehand.
