Seller Description: *Leather + Hardware has been cleaned and conditioned, unbranded dust bag is provided!This bag is in good, lightly used condition. It has a faint water stain on the open-pocket (picture 8). On picture 10 is (what I believe to be) another extremely faint water stain and what may be a hardly noticeable pen mark. The ball chain of the original hangtag has worn down to a silver color in some places (picture 9). Inside of the bag is clean, as well as the zip and open pockets. Straps are in perfect condition. This bag has quite a few scars, this is part of the natural grain of the leather, most are located on the backside of the bag and are hardly noticeable.This bag was made in the United States in 1997, as stated on the creed and the serial number reads: M7C-9098.Smoke-free, Pet-free home.

As shown in the 10th photo, there is a notation "HANDCRAFTED IN THE UNITED STATES" in the text within the frame of the inner tag.
The 3-4 digit alphanumeric number below the frame is the serial number.
From these and the stitching, etc., we know that this is a COACH 9099, produced in the U.S. in April 1998.

This item is a tote bag with two horizontal lines of stitching on the main body.
It opens and closes with a magnet.
Inside there are two pockets, one with a zipper and the other with an engraving.
COACH is stamped on the bottom of the surface of the main body.
Made of thick leather (classic)
New for Spring/Summer 1998

It is in clean condition with no signs of use."

If you don't mind and have a sec, can you please take a gander at this? The only thing I don't like about it is the color (i think it looked more pink in its pictures but is actually more red IRL). It's in pristine condition (minus a cigarette smell that I'm going to try to get rid of if it's real) and looking back, it kinda feels Too Good To Be True™️.

I appreciate any feedback you have as well as anything you wish you had known in the beginning.

Where purchased: yahoo auctions but I can no longer access the link unfortunately.
Comments: I'm not sure as whilst I have seen similar ones online, I'm led to believe they were produced in 1999 and this is marked 98 (albeit December). Measurements are approx 26cm width, 17cm height, 11cm depth, although it is misshapen from shipping unfortunately. Thank you in advance.

Comments: I asked about this one a couple of weeks ago when I first found the listing but it couldn't be certain as the creed wasn't clearly in view. Height is approx 37cm not including handle. Width is approx 44cm laid flat as it has been misshappen by shipping. Thank you for your time!
