Hi Authenticators, please help me to authenticate this beautiful bag with the wonky creed I have purchased.
You could only see the top of the creed in the listing which looked ok to me but not the serial.

I have never seen one of these, I was very excited to get it until I saw the creed, which did not show in the listing. Very difficult to photograph but I have tried with a few angles.

Coach Ergo Hobo 9026
User Bows and Sparrow
Listing: 286411592117

It's really hard to read but what I'm seeing doesn't look good. What do you think the serial prefix is?

Please and thank you for an authentication on this one. C1757-87545E. Coach Exploded Reps Phoebe Shoulder Bag. The creed is corroded, and pretty much unreadable, but I researched and found the style number.

I really don't know. I can't find any record of this style number except for one Poshmark listing. There is one picture of this style in the Phoebe clubhouse but she didn't mention the style number. I thought most phoebe style numbers began with a 2 or 3. Newer styles aren't my forte. @BeenBurned

I'm not seeing any Coach or Bonnie Cashin labels. Without one of those, it can't be proved to be authentic. Hangtags are removable so can't be used for authentication.

If it were authentic, it would be a Bonnie Cashin design. Earlier versions had colorful lining, often striped. The black lining came later. There is also an unlined version with a creed.
Thank you, great info. 😄

Thank you very much. I see so “big” collectors who have rainbow collections of these bags.
I used to have a rainbow collection of vintage bags. I looked especially for the pretty colors. Most of those that I could get in multiple colors were too small to use on a regular basis. I still have some pretty colors but I've reduced my collection to those that I can actually use.

I hear what you're saying. I'm very attracted to all the colorful vintage bags but their smaller sizes and price tags have steered me away. Like you, I tend to go for what's practical for me. So to date, that means browns, blacks, reds, and some tans. However, I now have one forest green, my big splurge, lol.
