You definitely DON'T want to spend that kind of money on that bag!

It was too late to edit my post so I'm responding again.

After looking at maddiegirl23's other listings, I found some interesting points.
1. The same fake was already sold once, March 1. I wonder if the buyer returned the bag after learning it's fake. And if that's the case, she knowingly relisted a fake and can't claim ignorance.
2. She also included a fake kate spade bag in a lot listing. (That listing does include genuine Coaches.)

It looks good to me.

Note that it's a good thing you were told that they don't authenticate, especially based solely on a serial number. Counterfeiters often put "valid" and correct serial numbers on fakes and without seeing the bag and all the details, Coach couldn't possibly authenticate. In addition, they are trained to sell current styles and aren't trained in authenticating.

In fact, there have been cases in which customers have called Coach, read a serial number to them and been told that a bag is authentic when in fact, pictures would have proven the bag fake.

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone can lend some insight into these two purses that I recently bought. I bought one for myself and the other one as a gift. I had them both authenticated here as probably being Dakota 4202, an unknown style.

But now that I've received them I'm noticing differences between the “tongue” lengths. #1 was described as dark blue and #2 was black. There is also a difference in the coloring of the trim. I’ve kept all the photos of the original listings if they are needed.

Any thoughts or musings would be appreciated. Thank you.
