I was unable to see the listing without logging in. Can you screenshot all the pictures and post them?? That's an unusual bag. I've never seen a NYC creed stitched on like that. Please wait for other authenticators to respond after you post the pics required.

Are there any other pictures? From what I'm seeing, I don't believe it is authentic.

I'm late in responding but I don't recommend that bag. It looks like someone attached a creed to a non-Coach or fake Coach bag.

ETA: I ended up logging in to Shoppee and the pictures shown are the only ones in the listing.

The pocket looks like NO pocket I've ever seen!

I was doubtful of authenticity when I took a first glance but after further examination, I'm 99.999% sure it's fake.

You didn't identify the Carousell seller from whom you purchased but I did a quick search there and found another (or the same) seller with the same fake.

Although we don't generally use hangtags as a definitive element in determining authenticity, it can be useful when combined with other problems.

Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and other Asian sellers are sourcing fakes that are extremely close and difficult to authenticate. But just because visual authentications are close and time-consuming, buyers need to be aware that the QUALITY is NOT going to be Coach quality.

Without being able to physically examine, touch and evaluate the items and get them authenticated, my personal opinion is that buyers should avoid most items coming for 3rd party sellers. (Even "trusted" Japanese sellers have been peddling a plethora of fakes.)

Here are a couple of examples of differences between the bag in question and others. One is another fake from a Japanese seller and others are from a couple of genuine bags from sellers.

Notice the difference in how far down the creed is stamped on the fake.


My advice is to return the fake, filed a chargeback with credit card if necessary and don't buy from sellers who don't show many detailed pictures. Avoid sellers in countries that have a reputation for sourcing fakes.

I have concerns about this possible Equestrian zip bag, brought in by a consigner. The creed is impossible to read, but the serial number is readable (H7C-9802). The texture of the leather on the hanging interior pocket is heavy. The bottom panel of the bag is stretched. Everything else looks OK. Approx measurements 12" wide (including strap/hardware projections), 6.5" high, 2.5" deep (seems narrow), and strap approx 51" long. Is this a fake bag?

I've rotated the creed to make it easier to see and read and IMO, the bag looks fine.
