Hi authenticators! Can you confirm the color of this Willis? Currant and Burgandy weren't options this year however this appears to be more burgandy than mahogany, especially where you see the creed. Not sure if this could be something that didn't make it into a catalog. Let me know if I missed anything!!

It's authentic. Burgundy was available in 1995 so that is probably what this is. We don't have every catalog, and not every color made it into every catalog.

It's authentic. Burgundy was available in 1995 so that is probably what this is. We don't have every catalog, and not every color made it into every catalog.

It's possible. That was a 1993 color. What's weird though is that this catalog shows bordeaux for the Logan but not Willis. It almost implies that Willis didn't come in Bordeaux, at least not initially. Based on the manufacturing date of your bag, I would expect it wouldn't have hit stores until 1995.

I was unable to see the listing without logging in. Can you screenshot all the pictures and post them?? That's an unusual bag. I've never seen a NYC creed stitched on like that. Please wait for other authenticators to respond after you post the pics required.

Item: Black 1990s Coach “Basic”? (0314-932)
Obtained when my mother died.
Comments: This seems fake because the serial number does not seem to match the basic Coach format and the “brass” is rubbing off one of the leash connectors. The zipper pull says “TALON.”
It seems odd to me that someone would go the trouble to mimic a Coach bag, using nice leather, but not bother to fake the serial number? It’s also strange to that my mother would have a fake bag when the other black Coach she had seems like a real Swingpack crossbody made in June 1995 (F5C-9974). Any info is really appreciated!
