It's authentic. You know it isn't a Metropolis, right? It's a Madison Regis.
Thanks. That makes sense that it is a Madison bag. The Regis has a similar shape as the Metropolis.

p.s. The grey Willis arrived today and it is such a pretty color! It is in great shape with a little wear on the corners - I will post pics and questions tomorrow on the Rehab page.

Both of these bags are in my possession and I am wondering if they are authentic.

Item: Green Leather Zipper Rectangle Bag
Style number is missing under the creed, but appears as if one could have been affixed many years ago and has since then come off.
First 4 photos. Lighting in photo makes the bag appear more brown than green.

Item: Brown Leather Shoulder Bag with adjustable strap (I could not find the real name for it anywhere I looked)
Style number is 674-5851

Thank you in advance for the expert assistance as usual!

Update: Finally gone!! It has been listed since 9/2!!

Good!

Seller seattlestyleblog has NO business even selling Coaches! Not only is s/he claiming that an item with a fake serial number and a Made In Korea stamp is genuine, but s/he is TOTALLY clueless about Bonnie Cashin, what she designed (LUGGAGE ??? REALLY ???) and when she collaborated with Coach. That bag looked like a ripoff of the Cabin Bag (I didn't notice the measurements but it looked like a 20-inch piece of luggage to me) which Coach didn't even introduce until late 1991, which was 17 years after Cashin parted company with Coach.

And the seller had the NERVE to ask almost 400 dollars for it! When they're talking those kind of prices, they'd better be DAMNED sure that what they're selling is exactly the way they're describing it.

DON'T BUY FROM seattlestyleblog !!!

You're welcome. I'm sorry you got a fake and I hope you get your money back.

You're welcome. It does look a lot like the Ace. I would imagine it would weigh about the same. The leather on the Broadway might be heavier but the Ace has more embellishment. These types of bags are always heavy for me carried on my shoulder; not bad on my arm.
The seller of the fake Stewardess said this: "And, to boot, the bag was purchased from a coach store so it is authentic, but I didnt say that in my ad, so you can request a full refund, but I will not be able to go down without a fight. sorry."
Well, I got a full refund cuz I fight, too! :)
