Thanks! I thought it looked weird because the wording on the creed doesn't match what I found by googling (and I haven't seen pics of that style of serial number combined with "Made in New York City".) Cool to learn more.
You're welcome! The serial number is unique to that bag. The format of it is exactly what it should be for 'made in New York City' bags. The actual number means nothing. It is random The actual style number of your bag is either 9795 or 9796.

Can you please take a look at a few bags for me. Are any of them authentic in your opinion?

1. This should be the Legacy East/West Compartment bag (#9164):
Comment: The creed/serial is unfortunately hard to read because of the quality of the photo, but The first part seems to me to be either C0D or L0D. As I understand this style was made in 2000 and manufactured in the US, but I don't see it in the 2000 holiday catalog and I've not been able to find other catalogs from 2000 to really even pin down the exact measurements the bag is meant to have. I feel like the ones described in this listing are a bit off, at least the depth. There wasn't anything else that jumped out at me right away, though. Was it really only produced such a short time because I didn't see it in the following catalogues that I could find?

2. Men's turnlock clutch #9971

3. This is another Rambler's Legacy #9061 I'm not sure is genuine:

4. Türkiye-made City bag #9790
Comment: It's again the serial number that sticks out for me the most. The first part is F72 which is confusing me.

Dear authenticators, good morning! A request to authenticate please. Thank you!

Item: Side pack H7M 9978
Where purchased or how obtained: thrift store
Comments: dimensions are 8" height, 6" width and 2" depth. I was going through my closet and came upon this side pack. I am unable to find a request to authenticate for this side pack. I have had it for a while and the "M" has me concerned. Pardon if this is a duplicate request.

I think it is probably okay. More opinions are welcome.

Thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge @whateve. I appreciate your reply to my request.
I think it's fine also.

They're all fine.

I think all of them are okay.

1. It was on Coach.com in 2000.

3. I don't have any examples of the D plant in the US as late as 2002 but I'm not seeing any issues.
4. That's pretty standard for how the Turkey plant stamp looks.

Please and thank you for an authentication and also, a bag identification. Seller called this a "Coach Classic 1990s Black Leather Crossbody #9852." I'm pretty sure it's not a ranch bag. This bag has a detachable strap, and bottom seams on the left and right. It's pretty big, this bag measures about 11 x 7.5 x 3. Seller: Restore Habitat for Humanity Greater Williamsburg. They only had 3 images online and no measurements. https://shop.restorepgw.org/ The item link is not there anymore. Also, if it helps place the time frame, this bag has a one-sided hang-tag. I appreciate any info! My best guess is a 9635 convertible clutch, but I'd like to hear from the experts!

Hello---can you check this bag out?

Thank you!

Authentic. Yes, it's a convertible clutch made early 90s. We don't usually use hangtags to date bags because they are removable and easily end up on the wrong bag.

Hello---can you check this bag out?

Thank you!
It looks good. Multizip bag made in 1996.

Hi all - came upon this one while window shopping.

Item: coach vintage leather black with white top stiching handbag satchel shoulder
Listing number: 176596296708
Seller and site where listed: yardleyfreak on eBay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/176596296708
Comments: The creed says the bag is made of leather but the pictures make it look like it's made of fabric. I am pretty sure that's a 9 on the end of the style number, it's a little hard to read.

I keep comparing it to this one and they just don't look the same, especially on the bottom.

Item: Genuine Coach Leather 19x16 Large Soft Black Shoulder Bag Purse #F1069-F14379
Listing number: 176415556741
Seller and site where listed: CatawabaLGS on eBay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/176415556741
Comments: Obviously I don't know if this one is authentic either but at least it looks like leather.

I completely accept it might just be me, but I was too curious to not ask! Thanks!
