You're right about it being the 36-inch strap & almost in the shortest position! Thanks again, Hyacinth!

Have you come across any fake NYC bags? Not to say they couldn't exist if not but I am just curious.

None that I can remember off the top of my head, but there may have been a few. Most of the really early fakes we've seen have either been one-offs like someone sticking a fake or real metal Coach tag from the 1970s into a newer or generic bag. And of course, the Korean fakes, but they used their own creed stamps that either gave no country of origin or that actually said Made In Korea.

Just because we haven't seen it yet doesn't mean it hasn't been done. And remember, Coach bags were mostly below the counterfeiters' radar until the last 20 or 25 years.

Thanks, I've always wondered. Even in the excitement of finding early bags, I remind myself not to let my good judgement slip by the wayside. :)

Good evening to you!

We definitely have seen some fake bags with "Made in the United States" across the bottom of the creed. I don't recall ever seeing a fake NYC creed, but since there aren't variations like there are for later creeds, if it didn't match fonts exactly, it would be easy to tell.

I hadn't known about fakes found on those US made bags. It makes sense though that the NYC creeds wouldn't have the variations like later ones. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge, Whateve!

Suede shoulder bag in tan, about 10x8x2

Comments: I am currently looking for a this or similar style in suede, a friend sent me these pictures asking if I would be interested in this one, I emailed back asking for more info, I am waiting for her reply. If the listing is in Ebay or other site, I will edit the post to follow the guidelines, but I thought I could have a head start. The font in the creed is it OK?
