It's authentic. There's a letter at the beginning of the serial number. You left off the month code, E. (Made in May 2006.)

The first one can't be determined if authentic because there's no creed picture.

The second is a girly bag and the hangtag is original to the bag.

Comments: When I google the bag number it shows up as the number for another bag as well. Leather looks kind of bumpy in bottom.

I saw that request when you posted and didn't like the bag. I was waiting to see how @whateve felt about it.

I believe DakotaRanchVintage's bag is fake.

I found this one at a Goodwill bin store. It's in rough shape. But, is it authentic? Thanks! SD-20115. Measures approx 9 x 7.5 x 3 inches. Comment: In researching the style, I found other bags with this serial number have a zipper pocket on back, and an image of a purse outline on the creed and different wording. Edit: I found a white tag inside, 38198.

No embossing. The prior owner cut off one of the strap ends!! The one I can see has nothing embossed on it.

Here's what I guess about it. They wanted it to be a specific length that the holes wouldn't accommodate? When you double the strap to a handle type top, then the cut doesn't show. It is bizarre. I sealed it with edgekote.
