  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Later last year I got my first coach bag as a gift with the help of your amazing work <3. I have been wanting a green one for a long time now to add to my very small collection so far and came across this listing. Could you help me authenticate this?

The bag shown in the Mercari listing is authentic but it's a good idea to have all Japanese sellers' listings authenticated. They don't have a good history of verifying authenticity.

It looks authentic. That isn't the correct box for the bag. The picture of the creed looks like a totally different color.

No K1282-Z23989 (Note "X" in upper right corner of label)
At thrift store
Also says, "Coach Est. 1941". Looks like patent leather maybe, Also seems to have some odd staining. I have no idea what it's supposed to be called, assuming it's real.


Inner label pulled out to show label and outer logo in same picture.
