Item: coach crossbody vintage?
Bought from: goodwill

I’m skeptical of the authenticity because the leather is softer than my other 90s coach and also the stamp on the creed is very weak. Please help!

It's authentic.

Yay thank you! Any idea what H means?
H is the code for the US factory where the bag was made.

It's a Soho handle bag and was made in 1996.

Hi. I have found two identical bags, with identical date and plant codes, but the stamp font is different. I have never come across this before. One is on Poshmark Canada and the other is ebay in the US. Could someone have a look at them for me and let me know if they are both authentic. Thanks.

Thanks for your help.
Both are okay. I'm not seeing a difference. What concerns you?

Hello everyone! I have a slightly interesting question. Somewhat similar to Aggravating Catch, I found 2 different bags, made in the same factory in the same month of the same year but one creed is the totally newer version post-1994 with the country of production in the wordings of the creed, whereas the other has 'made in the united states' at the bottom of the wordings. One has to be fake right? I wonder if it's possible for the factory to have used 2 totally different stamps at the same time for different bags. The one on Poshmark looks fine in my inexperienced eyes but ofc I could be wrong. On the other hand, the other one is authenticated by Vestiaire alrdy (although we know the authenticators sometimes make mistakes).

1) Coach D5D-9953, Helens Legacy, Site: Poshmark, Seller: marcystoeven9 (This is the one with country of production in the creed wordings)

2) Coach 9929, Site: Vestiare Collective, Seller: Pett (This is the one with country of production not in the creed wordings)

Really excitedly anticipating what you all think. Thank you again in advance :)

This listing has the same style of creed as your 1995 style number 9953:

I also found a listing for a August 1995 style number 9929 (your listing’s was made in April) and it does NOT have the made in the US at the bottom:

Wait for @whateve and @Hyacinth for opinions on that listing (from Traditionalbeauty_of_Japan). I'm a bit uncomfortable about the authenticity of that bag.

Although I'm not fond of either Poshmark or Vestiaire Collective, those 2 listings show authentic items..

Thanks BeenBurned! Yeah I can definitely see why these 2 platforms are not the most celebrated here.. So now I see that different bag models can have different stamps even when made in the same factory in the same month of the same year. But is it possible for the same model (same factory/month/year) to have 2 different stamp looks?

Just me trying to read up more on vintage Coach so that's why I have these questions. Thank you so much for your expertise C:

I'm thinking this is MAYBE because of the very obvious and unnatural looking crease marks

The creases are only one thing that bothers me.

Some factories had more than one stamp in use at the same time.

I believe the bag on ebay is authentic.

After a LOT of googling, I found a bag with the exact same serial as the vestiaire one and you can see the creed is the same!
