I can't get that listing to open either. I tried different browsers and couldn't even pull up a cached copy.

YES!! After several tries, I got it!

The bag is authentic, made in 2005 so not quite vintage until next year.

Will post a couple of pictures in case the cache stops working.

ETA: weird. The listing also came up on the Canadian ebay site:
I've had that problem a few times in the past. The page I get says "currently sold out. Coach Tammie Metallic Leather Shoulder Bag - Ivy Green." I don't know what causes it. When I search by item number, it says it doesn't exist.

I haven't seen it before but I believe it is authentic. The inside pig suede. Coach used it for lining on some bags in the late 90s/early 2000s so I suspect this is from the same era. More opinions are welcome.

I agree that it's authentic.
Thank you both looking at it.
I've seen this same round jewelry box in other listings, but none have referenced a style name/number. Maybe I'll get lucky and run across detailed info at some point. 🤞

I can't help with the "Limited Edition", sorry.

Based only on the creeds and serial numbers, the others look genuine. There's no way to tell if there are any problems with them.

Item: Chadwick Satchel 9928 (USA, $234 in 1993)
Where purchased or how obtained: Belongs to a friend
Measurements: 10.5" wide, 8" tall, 4.5" deep; Strap 46" long, including clips

Comments: A friend of mine recently lost her sister and she's been going through her items, including some vintage bags. She asked if I could "Fix this bag up a bit to make it a little prettier?" because she would like to carry it in memory of her sister - and I will be happy to try and restore it for her.

I am not familar with this style of bag but after going through the vintage Coach catalogs (helpfully posted here on Coach TPF, thank you!) I think that it is an authentic, black Chadwick Satchel 9928 as featured in the Fall 1993 Catalog. Please review these photos and let me know your opinions, thank you.

It's a genuine Coach, and I agree with your identification as a Chadwick Satchel. The serial number format indicates that it was made between 1990 and 1993.

Good luck with the rehab.

How sweet of you to do that for your friend to help her feel better. And we've all seen how good you are at rehabbing. Good luck!

Thank you both so much! I am glad to help her out and give her a memento of her sister, but she surprised me!

She also gave me 3 additional vintage bags and told me that I could have them if I wanted them; so of course I took them! There are 2 Coach bags and a D&B bag, and I will be posting pictures of them on TPF soon and asking for help with identification and authentation - so thanks in advance!

Hello,

Please authenticate this Coach handbag from the Bleecker collection that I purchased on Shopgoodwill.com. I am very sure it is a fake for the following reasons: The plaid in the lining does not match up, the lining does have the word 'Coach' in the lining, and it feels like cheap leather. The hardware also is lightweight. This purchase was not well thought out. Here is the link:

Thank you.

I think it's authentic. I've never seen this style number before. It was made for a discount store so may not be the same quality. I've never seen the lining without the word Coach that I can remember. It does seem odd they would make special lining for these but maybe it is cheaper fabric. Even on my boutique Bleecker bags, the lining doesn't always match up at the seams.

More opinions are welcome.
