Comments: The creed says W7B-9927. I read that creeds should not start with W, but I wasn't sure since this could have been made in 1993 before they started with those codes.

Hi authenticators! I'm super new to vintage coach but I've been lurking a lot and ready to take the plunge. Saw this online and thought of purchasing it but would like your input.
Item: 1970s spectator bag?

Comments: The seller has loads of vintage coach on her page, and claims that this is a 1980s bag, but from my reading, the creed looks like it's a 1970s bag. The bag has no tag as she said it's lost and she was given a lilac tag in the USA as a replacement. NYC creeds look the same whether they are on bags made in the 70s or 80s but we can narrow down the date by when the style was made. The seller is right about being made in the 1980s. The spectator bag wasn't introduced until 1987 and that model differed slightly from this one. The spectator bag with a pocket under the flap, like this one, didn't come out until 1989.

NYC creeds look the same whether they are on bags made in the 70s or 80s but we can narrow down the date by when the style was made. The seller is right about being made in the 1980s. I'm 90% sure this is original bag but I nowhere didn't find is on Rowan bag iz "ykk" on the zipper. I bought this from a private person and she says that she bought it on BUYMA.US but I saw review and are so different. That's my first coach bag and I'm so stressed about authentic this bag. English is not my first language sorry

I haven't found a style number for the wallet and I'm not sure whether it originally came with a checkbook insert.

The second item is 7170, skinny case.

Are you referring to the backtacking? That's a common practice as it secures the stitching to keep it from pulling out and having seams or stitched areas become unsewn.

Agreed. I think it looks fine. I don't have the exact Rowan but I have the rainbow signature one. Though the loss of gold finish on the new zipper is kinda odd to see.
