Hi, I was curious about this bag, is it real. I already bought it on the platform Vinted because it was really cheap. If anyone could help me authenticate it would be awesome, (what model is it)?
Also has this bag been painted, if so how could I rehab it (if it’s real)?

It's authentic. I'm not expert on dying, painting or rehab but it doesn't look painted to me.

@whateve will be able to give more help in that regard.

Hey! I can’t speak to authenticity, but I can to something else—that’s a scam account. They keep getting reported, then new ones pop up or they take over an inactive user’s account. One of their most common items to fraudulently list is vintage Coach Ergos (all versions, especially colorful ones). They’re always for well under $100, and if you reverse image search them, you’ll almost always find the actual listing the photos are stolen from somewhere else. I’d be really wary of buying vintage Coach at too-good-be-true prices on Depop—they just turn out to not be true.

Also—I see the bag sold. If that was you, get in touch with Depop customer service. They’ll help you cancel and get your money back.

ETA: I did a little looking. Half the bag photos are taken from this recently completed eBay listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/404637037322
The others including creed photo are from elsewhere.
Thank you SO much! I had a feeling it was too good to be true. A girl can dream 🙃

Okay thanks a lot, and do you know the model and when it was made?)
It doesn't look painted to me. It was made in the early 90s. We need measurements to ID it.

  • FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:
    Item: 1996 Willis 9927
Where purchased or how obtained: purchased at a local estate sale on Sunday
Comments: Willis bags always throw me off. I authenticate through real authentication sometimes and they wouldn’t authenticate this bag. This has happened more than once with them. I’m hoping the authenticators here can help me.
  • It also has a vintage trigger snap keychain attached to it.

  • I appreciate the help! Thank you!

It appears authentic. I wonder why they wouldn't authenticate.
