Genuine. 9411 is in my files as a Nubuc North-South Slim Shoulder Flap. It was made in 2000.

Not all Coaches can be found on Google, or even on the internet. So it's only a yellow flag (or card), not a red one.
Great news, thanks Hyacinth. I’ll take on board this re the internet searches. Something about the creed looked good (in my limited experience), but I knew to check with the experts here 😊. So glad to have found you.

Hi Authenticators! Please weigh in on the authenticity of this pencil case. Any info available to share?....Style name/number, when released, catalog or tag photo Thanks for your time and expertise!

I don't see any problems with it although I've never seen it before. It's possible that the item might have been promotional, as GWP (gift with purchase) or discounted with a purchase.

Other opinions are welcome.

And your guides are accurate, authoritative, and invaluable. I would never have gotten into acquiring and rehabbing vintage bags if I didn't have access to resources and experts like you all and TPF, to help identify and authenticate them - thank you!
I wouldn't have gotten into vintage Coach if you hadn't posted your fabulous rehabs on the forum!

For whatever it's worth, there is 1 current listing and 1 sold listing for a case like my request. Here are those links:

Here is a listing for a NWT slide case of pencils. Have you seen anything like it? Any idea when it would have been released if authentic?

Very nice pencil holder! I have never seen one like it but I think that Coach items were being made in Turkey in the late 1990s and early 2000s, is that correct?

I have a very different type of Coach Pencil Holder; it's a Bleecker Pencil Holder 64544 that was Made in China and I purchased it in 2014. At that time a Pencil Holder was considered a "Men's Item" and it was sold as an FP Delete at the local Coach Men's Outlet, see the link below.

Good luck with your research!

Good Morning Authenticators! Can someone please weigh in on the authenticity of this wallet and checkbook? The seller does not show the checkbook inside the wallet, so was the checkbook actually a part of the wallet, or an add on purchase? Any info available to share?....Style name/number, when released, catalog or tag photo. Maybe an educated guess on the color? Thanks so much for your time and expertise!

Love your pencil holder! And thanks, I'm looking forward to having a pen/pencil holder for my bag that's a quality piece.
I've always thought it a bit strange that Coach seemed to gear so many of their pen/pencil holders and similar items toward men. Through the years, a good many women in management and career positions carried a briefcase and those small goods to the office and into meetings on a daily basis. And then there are those just like you and I - trying to keep the random ink and pen marks off and out of our bags.

My understanding is that Coach started as a Men’s small leather goods company and eventually brought Bonnie Cashin onboard to expand into the women’s market. I think most people now think of Coach as a places to buy purses , but they haven’t forgotten their roots.

The checkbook wallet is authentic and from about 2000-2001. I can't guess on the color - British tan? Camel (though it looks darker)? Doe?

I can't find the style number of your item but it's the leather version of Signature checkbook wallet, 6058.

Both are fine.

Many thanks BeenBurned & lightning fast too!

I believe it is authentic. I don't believe it was a limited edition or had Legacy in the name. I've seen other bags from the same line that were limited editions and those had an extra tag underneath the creed that denoted "limited edition." I don't have a catalog page for this exact bag but other bags from the same line also came in silver, so this one may have as well. I don't think the leather was referred to as vintage leather. I'm not seeing any indication of that in catalog ads I have of other styles in this collection. I had a 2004 bag that was described as vintage leather and it wasn't the same as this.
Thank you for these details!

Ladies, you rock!!!

Authentication request for this Casino. I bought it on eBay over 20 years ago. Now that I take a closer look, though, I'm not sure it's even made of leather. I have the strap but took it off for the photos.

@BeenBurned - Would the checkbook wallet in this link be the same as my request? Although not new, note the tag in one of the listing photos shows F41793.
