Quite intriguing indeed on that serial number, and georgraphically spread. My seller lives in Italy.

Italy is and has been a hotbed of fakes.manufacturing, but mostly of higher-end luxury bags.

I found this gorgeous thing at the thrift store today. $16! Supersoft leather briefcase-type thing. Officially vintage. 2003. It measures 15 x 13 x 4.5. Creed number D3S-6416. I'm not finding a lot of info about it on the internet. Please and thank you for authenticating. If it's authentic, do you know the name or any other info?

It's authentic. I don't have it in my files.

It was on the Coach drilldown's list of style numbers back then as 6416_TRANSATLANTIC LEATHER MESSENGER-d1. That's the only thing I know about it.

Both are genuine, the tan one is from the early 1990s and the black one from 1995.

The style doesn't look familiar to me. It looks like some of the recent reloved upcrafted remade items Coach has been making, by joining two bags together.

Thanks for checking! It definitely was never sent in to the Coach re-love program, so I'm guessing it was something limited at the time.

It looks fine and is a leather valet fob. The keyring is missing from the end that has the snap but but you can add a ring to it.

The color looks red to me.

I got lucky in finding the style number because I'd had the same keychain and saved the pictures! It's style 7273.
