Wrong lining, nonstandard creed shape, wrong font for D plant. I haven't found one that was made in the US.

This one is fake.

ETA: the only time Coach used similar metal zipper pulls were on pebbled leather bags.

FAKE. Here's s genuine J8D- creed patch from the D plant. Not only is the font wrong, but the lining of the Lexington styles should have the Coach logo. And there's no way such a badly cut and sewn patch could ever have come out of the D plant which at the time was probably Coach's most experienced.

They're both genuine versions of the original # 9085 Duffle Sac, and the first one was probably made some time between 1988 and about 1990. The second one is from between about 1990 and 1993.

i already have the wristlet in my possession, but i have included the original listing plus pictures i have taken now that it's in my hands. the tags were attached, but he removed it before giving it to me.

This item wouldn't have a creed. Many smaller accessories don't have one.

The passport folder is authentic.

Yup, it looked okay before the pictures but after going back to look at the pictures you added, I can confirm that he did fine.

awesome! i didn't tell him that designer goods can be counterfeited, it would have worried him. but i'm grateful he chose such a lovely gift for me.
