It's not a Willis. It's a station bag, 5130.

I agree that the bag looks pretty shiny and I'd definitely want to know what was used on it.

The strap isn't Coach and although it's fine to use a replacement strap, in a listing with a "no return" policy, it's in the seller's best interest to disclose that info because in not doing so, palmbeachvault is opening herself to a legitimate NAD (not as described) claim.

Thanks so much, BeenBurned. I realized it’s not a Willis. The seller named it incorrectly. If they don’t know the name of the style, it’s highly likely they don’t know not to use shoe polish or Vaseline on it! I’ll find out.

I don’t trust my decisions about pre-1994 bags with the 4 digit-3 digit creeds. Your help, as usual, is appreciated!

Lucy

I asked about the shininess and the seller said it was the camera flash. (Something that’s not recommended when photographing items for sale!). This seller has sold over 2500 items and has a 99.6% rating, so I chose to believe her and risk buying it. I asked for a discount because of the replacement strap and got one. Thanks again!

I love it! It looks authentic. I don't have a catalog picture. The listing doesn't provide measurements. I wonder how big it is. Once I passed up on what I think was a smaller version of this in lavender and I've been kicking myself ever since.
Hello again @whateve I've got a little update/question... I have the bag, it's so soft and pretty, and really cool how it pops open with the hinges. However- please see my attached images. The stitching inside is.... off. Like they just swerved a bit but kept going, so a small part of the lining is loose. Just in the ONE spot, everything else is great. I'm considering asking for a return because I'm afraid that will bother me while using the bag, and I wouldn't want to pull it off/rip it or anything. I don't think seller knew/saw it. Can this still be authentic given the stitching? Can authentic Coach bags have mistakes in the stitching like this ever??? THANK YOU for any info. Editing to add: I always think my pics are okay until I upload them and then I wish I added more/zoomed out/made it brighter or something lol, hope these are alright. Let me know if you want to see anything else! Appreciate your time always

That's a shame. I still think it is authentic. They were made by people and people make mistakes. Someone should have caught that one though.

Sorry, that bag is fake and should never have been sold.

If I bought it, I'd take it back and request a refund or at least, an exchange. If they refuse and if you used a c.c., file a dispute.

@Hyacinth used to comment on sloppy items that might have been made on Fridays (by someone who was in a hurry to start their weekend) or on Monday after a weekend during which they did a lot of partying.
