Purchased this Madison Leather Sophia Satchel #15960 at ShopGoodwill.com. Measures 9"x14". It came with a certificate of authenticity, but I'd like a second opinion. Thank you!

It's fine.

In the future, please include a link to the online listing as well as a picture of the COA when there is one. Note that Goodwill and their authenticators are notorious for making errors.

Hi authenticators, could you please authenticate this Coach bag? Very grateful if someone can lend expertise here!

Item: Coach Swagger 27 listed as "COACH Zip Tote-Shoulder Pebble Leather Black Bag; Perfect Condition."
Listing number: 225797225516
Listed on ebay by katdesigns1

Comments: This newer Coach bag is especially tricky for both me and the seller, who is working with me to try to make sure the bag is authentic and seems very proactive. She has not been able to find a white tag inside the bag's inner pocket, unfortunately. She is not a Coach expert, though, as she is using online sources that state untrue things such as "ykk is a Coach zipper", but she is at least hoping to help verify if it's real or not before shipping it to me, else we could cancel it.

I know that the serial number is not always on the leather creed especially in 2014 according to the SaleArea guides, but figure one of you will know the other details and date range of this bag in all your bag wisdom. Also, I wondered if there *is* any way to authenticate this bag without the white tag with this creed, unless something else is obviously off?

She wrote to me that: "The zipper runs, very smooth and it’s YKK, which is a coach zipper. A hardware on the bottom end is screwed in by hand. The lining is rich, not cheap little polyester. The leather is silky. Smooth there doesn’t seem to be any cheap quality about the bag as you would see in a counterfeit The coach A is pointed, not rounded. The snap hardware is stamped coach as well.
I have not looked at redoing the shipping yet if you were still interested in the bag, I will do that I’m not legally authenticating it I’m just saying the signs in this bag look too good to be a counterfeit in my opinion."

Anyway, thank you!

Attached are the photos from the listing; I have asked for more but this is what we have now.

If she's not able to find a white label or if the bag doesn't have one, the bag can't be authenticated. (It's also against ebay's rules to list it because sellers are supposed to know items are authentic before listing.)

That she's working with you is good, but she needs to get some of the nonsense she's been reading online out of her brain!

Swaggers are closely faked and there should be a white tag. If she wants to sell that bag, she needs to turn the pocket(s) inside out and look in the lowermost left corner of the pocket(s).

Unless she's able to find and photograph the tag, I don't recommend buying the bag.
