Thanks for heads up. How is ebay as far as refunds if u receive inauthentic bags?

Is it possible to deal with ebay directly and not interact with seller if you receive a fake bag? heard some stories of sellers getting nasty…
Ebay is very buyer centric so if you receive an item that isn't "as described," the MBG (money back guarantee) will protect you. But as a buyer and a seller, I always prefer that the seller be contacted first if there is a question. There are cases where the buyer is mistaken about authenticity and by contacting the seller first, differences of opinion can be discussed. It's not fair (IMO) to a seller to be blindsided with a return request when items may not even be fake. Buyers should verify that their suspicions are correct before accusing sellers.

But if a seller isn't agreeable to a return of a fake and the buyer opens a return request for a NAD (not as described) reason, the seller must either issue a refund without requiring a return or they have to pay for a return shipping label and issue a refund upon receipt of the returned item. If the seller doesn't do one of those things, buyer can request ebay to step in and resolve the claim. The buyer will always win.
Does poshmark not ban or at least regulate sellers selling fakes? I just bought some coach bags on posh and now questioning if theyre real…
In my experience gained from many years of authenticating and from reading thousands of posts, Poshmark is among the worst sites when it comes to responding to reports of fakes and fraud (before items are purchased) as well as accepting returns for proven fakes that buyers have received.

Poshmark claims to have "authenticators" and those "experts" have denied returns of proven fakes although if some buyers insist, Poshmark will agree to the return as a "goodwill gesture." For these reasons, I refuse to support, authenticate, recommend or do business with Poshmark or their members.

Thank you so much, this is so helpful! I’m bit nervous re some i ordered on poshmark, mostly bc im not familiar enough with the styles and when i asked for pics of creeds, sellers were unresponsive or very slow to share pics. Will share once i receive them. I didn’t realize re poshmark, thank u!

Don't buy from an unresponsive seller. If they aren't willing to take the time to answer your question before the sale, how responsive do you expect them to be if there's a problem once they have your money?

Dear Authenticators,
Will one you of you please take a look at this Rogue tote? I purchased it from a local seller. I don’t see any red flags, but it is lighter than expected. Measurements approximately 16x11x7 inches.
Thank you

Hello! This is something new for me so I would love to receive any help.

Item: COACH Soho Bag Black Leather Shoulder Hobo Y2K Bag Purse
Listing number: 125992605395
Seller: mountains2beachresale
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1259926053...t6b5ulhst-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Comments: I don’t know much about Coach bags or bags in general, but I’ve been meaning to buy this model of bag for quite some time. The bag in question looks authentic to me, however, I’ve been reading that normally the fabric with Coach’s design is either on the inside or on the outside, but this has neither (as you can see in the photos on the website).

I would really appreciate the help, thanks!!

It's genuine. I don't have the exact name in my files but it's one of the Hampton totes from 1999

The bag is authentic, made in 2006.

Please don't depend on online guides as having dependable info about authenticating Coach. They often have tons of "always" and "never" rules for Coach although there are exceptions to nearly every Coach "rule."
