A new ALWAYS-FAKE vintage serial number, and both apparently from the same source. MAYBE. In fact I have a gut feeling that they're recent fakes too. The crooks have probably noticed the crazy prices vintage Coach bags are bringing and want a piece of the action.

UNLESS...
It's actually a bad stamping of KNOWN always-fake number 308-9875 which has been on the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers list for a very long time, rather than 808-9875. It's hard to tell from the photos because the photos are slightly angled but the
*08-9875 numbers are too similar to be a coincidence.. Regardless, the items in the photos are fake. There are punctuation mistakes in the creeds too but it's an always-fake serial number either way. And there's our old friend"marXings" in the creed.

EBAY SELLER IS us.lohse - Do NOT buy from this seller!

I posted this :warning in the Salearea Guides pages:

Be VERY careful buying "vintage" items that look brand new. I think the counterfeiters may be moving into fake "vintage" items to take advantage of the insanely high prices, like they've apparently been doing recently with other brands.

BTW, please always try to post creed and serial numbers separately rather than in collage form. It's easier to copy and enlarge them that way. After enlarging, I believe it's actually a bad stamping of a 308- prefix.

They're often deeply buried inside the large inner pocket, usually along the bottom seam. Sometimes it helps to carefully run your finger along that seam, or to turn the pocket inside out if it's not sewn down. Check the other inside pockets too.
Great tips- thank you! Unfortunately even after turning the lining and all the pockets inside out, I was unable to find a white tag. ‍♀️ I guess it will remain a mystery!
Thanks again for all your help!

Hello Authenticators,
Politely bumping…I’m not sure my previous post had enough information. I was able to get more photos. I’m wondering about a 1941 wallet I recently purchased on eBay. The back says Coach instead of 1941 and there is Coach stamped on the inside where my other wallets are not. I know Coach is always changing something so maybe that’s all it is…outlet wallet maybe? I would appreciate an opinion is someone is willing.
Thank you, as always I appreciate your time.

Thank you so much @Hyacinth
Aw it’s 308, not 808. I wouldn’t use the collage form anymore, sorry about that.
This listing is gone now :) :)
