Genuine Hamptons Leather Backpack made in 2001 and from the Hamptons Collection. I'm not sure what you mean by "Also, would appreciate if you can tell me which collection was this from? I think its 0577 but I’m not sure" since AFAIK there's no such thing as an 0577 collection.

Hello Authenticators:
Please help me see if this Goodwill find is authentic. The creed is J9H - 9058. It is a Soho Boho bag I think. It is missing its strap. It is dark brown with brass hardware. It measures 12.5 inches wide, 8.5 inches high, and 10.5 across the bottom, approximately.

Thank you for your help!

Good Afternoon!
Is this bag fake or okay? I haven't accepted yet. The zip pull is shaped same as vintage Talon but doesn't have the name on top. If this is authentic, when did Coach make this change?
Thank you in advance for all your help!

Sorry, it's fake. There are problems with the serial number and the alleged date of manufacture.

Please post the URL of the Goodwill listing as requested in the READ ME post at the top of each page.

Hi Authenticators,
Client just brought this in. Looks like a Spectator? 80s? Is it odd that the zipper tab is a different metal than the zipper, or could it just a replacement?

Thank you

Genuine. It looks like a Compartment Bag, style 9850 made in the early 1990s.

Here's the catalog page from a Fall 1992 catalog:

Dear authenticators,
Could you take a look at this vintage Coach backpack? The creed is a little bit worn. Thank you!
Item: Bixy full leather coach sling backpack
Seller and site where listed: kenzieraehey (Depop)
Link: https://www.depop.com/products/kenzieraehey-1995-bixy-full-leather-coach/

It's NOT a Bixby Sling. I 'm not even sure it's a real Coach. There's at least one small but serious problem with the serial number, which looks like M6C-9992 or -9993 - I'm not sure what the last number actually is, a real Handle Backpack would be -9992.

I'd really like to see aside view of the top of the bag clearly showing the metal rings holding the top handle on.

MORE OPINIONS ARE NEEDED.

How does a creed get that wrinkled? It's too hard to read. The shape of the handle worries me.

The underscore in the "No" is what's worrying me the most, but the wrinkled creed pocket is right behind it.

ETA - There aren't any M6C-s in my files but here's a genuine L6C-

On the questionable bag, I don't know if it's because of all those deep wrinkles, but the "G" in "variations in the Crain..." is missing the horizontal line, it looks like a C

Hi Hyacinth, here’s a pic from of the handle from one side of the bag. The seller said the last digit looks more like “3”…
