Coach was making small accessories in China even before they were making bags there. It's not a problem. I agree with BeenBurned that the hangtag was probably added later, the color looks a bit different and other details make me think it's newer than the coin purse charm.

Another GW trifecta yesterday...this is the first of 3
Approx. 7.5"w x 4.25"h x .75"d. Strap 6.75 doubled to ring.
Found a similar one on ebay called a Legacy Colorblock Zippy Wallet #48176...does that sound right?

There should be a small "Made In ..." tag sewn into the lining, I'd like to see a close-up of that too.

Is that the right creed for the bag and serial number you've asked about? The creed you've posted is not the same one shown (but illegible) in either the picture showing the inside of the bag nor is it the same creed of which you've shown the serial numbers.

Please also post the picture of the made in tag (sewn into the lining) which Hyacinth requested in the post quoted before mine.

May I ask where your friend is located? would it happen to be Phillippines?

That's kind of what I thought too - and they're all as kinky as a stack of three-dollar bills.

I wonder if the differences between 1 and 2 might be due to lighting? But where did 3 come from?

I don't know who's playing games here but I'm definitely NOT in the mood for it.

1- I'm not sure about this one. It could be ok but I don't know what style it is. It looks like a Compact Pouch 9620 except for the strap. I've never seen one with a removable strap before. Whateve needs to take a look.

2- the bag seems ok but the strap is too short. I can't tell if it's been replaced or shortened but the end opposite the buckle isn't attached to the strap ring correctly so that's apparently where it was modified. Not recommended.

I don't see any problems though ideally, I'd prefer that the seller included a picture showing the imprints on the underside of the collar.

It's here! It's here! Here are the pics. I've increased the saturation on the last pic to bring out the letters of the creed. Sadly, it's too big for my little guy. He'll have to run around naked (without Coach) a little bit longer until I can find one that fits him. :giggles:
