• Made in tags (when available)
• Measurements
• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I know there's probably not a clear enough creed pic here, and after I get this, I'll share more. I enlarged the creed on my computer and from what I can see it's "made in New York City, USA" and the serial number is 109-7907. (?) It's from the infamous Poshmark. Sarahcox5 has no history here. Bag measures, according to seller, 8”H x 7”W x 2.5”D. Strap measures approximately 48”. To me, it looks like a 9825 "Mini Bag." Please and thank you for an opinion on authenticity.

I enlarged the creed on my computer and from what I can see it's "made in New York City, USA" and the serial number is 109-7907. (?) It's from the infamous Poshmark. Sarahcox5 has no history here. Found this little cutie at the thrift. I think it is a Hadley Zip Crossbody from November 1994. It’s about 6.5” long and 5” tall. Were my instincts right and it’s authentic? Thank you!

I did report it though I’m not sure that my single report is the reason it was removed. It’s likely others reported too.

If you want authentications, we need to see more than just the creed. We need to see the bag too to make sure the creed goes with the bag style. The target symbol was put on bags that were transferred to the outlet for sale.

This bag is authentic. It was made around 1991-1992. It is probably a Scout bag #9890. The closure is called a springlock. Next time if you want a bag IDed please provide measurements if the creed is all numeric (made before 1994).

That's COMPLETELY WRONG. Please stop stop wasting your time at forums where you can't even get correct answers.

The ONLY genuine Coaches with 3 all-LETTER digits for the serial number prefix are a few styles made between 2014 and 2016.
Genuine Coaches made before 1994 will ALWAYS have 7 or 8 NUMBERS, NO LETTERS, for a serial number.

Where in the world are you hearing this nonsense? Seriously.

Not only does the fake you asked about have an invalid serial prefix but the font used for the number is completely wrong and much too thick, and the spacing is wrong. It doesn't even have a year code.

And we know positively because I and the other two authenticators here at tPF's Coach forum have been studying and researching both real and fake Coaches for between 10 and 20 years. ONLY proven Coach experts are allowed to authenticate in this forum and only after they've proven to the rest of the members and the forum management that they're fully qualified to do so.
