I found the most gorgeous red basic bag. Seller is basically a small thrift store online based in North Carolina. Backporch Treasures. Please and thank you for taking a look and giving an opinion on authenticity. I can't believe how good it looks, like brand new. Talon zipper, but does not have "anchors" on the hardware. Only one finished side to the hang tag.

Hi! I would love help to figure out if this is an authentic vintage coach purse. If it is authentic, is it worth restoring? Or would the costs be more than the bag is worth. I wouldn't want to resell if it's real, it would just be nice to restore and pass it down to my kids one day!
Details are below.
- I think it's the Penny Pocket
- dimensions: 9.5x5.5 or 6x2.25
- I bought it a few years ago at a charity thrift shop in Westfield, NJ (a moderately weathy area)
- the creed has made in nyc but I thought this style came out in the 1980's
- number on the creed: 249-9745
- there is a white, almost light blue, line showing around some inside areas that make me think it's becoming unstuck from each other over time or its not authentic. I don't think it was there when I bought it so could be from improper care on my part.
