Bag 2
11" x 7" × 1.5"
Both are fine. #1 is style 9911, a Kimball bag and #2 appears to be a Basic bag, 9455 with a missing strap.

Wow! This experience has really opened my eyes. Thank you for the quick help I appreciate it. The listing says it’s elegible for returns so I should be able to send it back!
The seller should pay for return shipping because the bag is fake, as well as refunding all of your money, including any shipping you may have paid when you purchased the bag. You should not be incurring any loss of money.
If your return was because of buyer's remorse, that would be a completely different issue.

ETA: Because this seller has/does list and sell fakes, she likely is fully aware that it is illegal (Federal offense) to sell fakes of any "brand". Although Etsy is terrible about confronting the problem and removing listings of fake items, there are several reputable Coach sellers on Etsy. Our wonderful authenticators here are generous with their time and knowledge to steer us from the fakes!
Good luck with your return.

Hello Authenticators! Can you please have a look at this one?
Item: Vintage COACH Ivory Leather Shoulder Crossbody Handbag
Listing number: 374406065245
Seller and site where listed: elizpad4, EBAY
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/374406065245
Comments: Looks like the number is 0087-143. The bottom corners of the flap and bag seem more square than on the one I already have, and the bottom of the flap looks straight rather than curved; unless this is another style than City bag?

Thank you!

Hi Authenticators! Can I please have this purse listed on eBay authenticated?
Item: Seller says Penny Pocket
Listing Number: 125824012698
Seller: almacleo_0 on eBay
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1258240126...uid=4jA9iGufTYa&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Comments: This one has a strange (to me) number on the Creed. I think I need to check it out with you. I found this seller on this thread with some authentic items, but not this particular one.

Thank you in advance!
Julie

I'll need you to post acopy of the seller's creed and serial number photos. Pictures of the outside and inside pockets would also help since my old computer can't open most listing photos.

Thanks!

BTW, there's no such style name as a Penny Pocket and never has been. Someone mis-named it years ago in a listing and the mistake became widespread.

Of course!
I looked it up and knew that the seller's name for it was wrong, but then that made me think there might be something wrong.
Thank you so very much for your help!

Replying to myself, is this a Compartment Bag?

Thanks for the photos.

It's a genuine Pocket Purse style 9755 made in the early 1990s, not the 1980s. Here's Coach's description from a 1997 catalog:

Unfortunately because of computer problems I can only (barely) see the main listing photo so if there are any photos of areas I really need to see like the creed and serial number details, one of the narrow sides, the entire strap and strap attachment, the construction of the inside and underflap pockets, the full base and at least one bottom corner, etc, I can't see them at all.

Please wait for one of the other authenticators to take a look. It's not a City Bag and the seller's measurements indicate that it's too big for a Compartment Bag. One possibility is a Pocket Bag style 9875 from the early 1990s but that's a completely wild guess on my part based ONLY on the shape of the front panel and that's just not enough since it doesn't seem as if the bag in the listing photo has a gusseted underflap pocket like the Pocket Bag does.

BTW, if those pen marks the seller mentioned are on the outside of the bag they're probably permanent.
