Hello Dear People,

I am writing to get an authentication on a bag that I think is a fake after researching on this forum and the internet in general. But I am hoping I'm wrong. 1) Three or four places on the edging where a piece of leather runs out and a new piece of leather was introduced but I'm thinking the seams should be made from one whole piece of leather, not pieced. 2) The sewn/cut edging is uneven. 3) The double thickness of the strap and Coach tag and the tag's two pieces pulled apart. 4) Lastly, the style number 6147 of my bag doesn't match the style number of the Sutton bag 9814. 6147 matches up to the Monterey bag. That's my sad story, but this is a good start on an education on real vintage Coach bags.

Item: A purse that looks exactly like a vintage Sutton but the style number is not a match
Where purchased or how obtained: Purchased today at a Goodwill
Comments: I paid $10 because it was 75% off, but not till I got home did I see things that made me question this purse's authenticity. Measurements: 11" x 7" x 2.25"

Thank you for taking the time to help me and I will return the favor as soon as I can!

It's fake. Insist on a refund. It is illegal to sell fakes and Goodwill has a no fakes policy.

Hi, I’m new to this forum and don’t have a lot of experience using forums so I think I’ve posted in the correct place. I’m hoping someone can help me authenticate this item I like on eBay.
I think it may be the Coach f49872 but I’m not confident. I have asked the seller for further information, including a clearer photo of inside and any white tags, but haven’t heard back yet. I’m erring towards it not being genuine but I’m not sure! Size is 10x15cm. Thank you all.
