My opinion is that the bag is fake.

Let's see what @Hyacinth has for an opinion.

Since I always like to leave room for surprises I'm going to say there's at least an 80-90 percent chance that it's fake. The actual details of the outside of the bag look close, but any competent leatherworker or counterfeiter can copy the construction details of a basic style like this. It doesn't even have an inside pocket, so how badly can a counterfeiter mess up?

That's why creed and serial number details are sooooooo important and why we're so obsessed by them. AND why we need the best photos of them we can get, because my Stone Age computer has a big problem with most sites' photos especially sellers or sites based outside the US.

Genuine Hadley Zip from 1993, which is when it was introduced. However, there's no way to be sure that bag was actually "made in New York City" like the seller claims since Coach stopped using the NYC stamping on creeds in 1987 or early 1988, and was already phasing out production at the original New York City "A"plant in 1993. It could have been made in Miami or even in a US territory like Puerto Rico. There are very few if any official records of plant locations from that period.

I apologize. Did you decide the bag was real
