Thrift store treasure #1. A legacy stripe wallet. Please and thank for authentication. I saw it, I didn't recognize it as Coach, but thought it looked well made. Then I saw the tiny words Coach on the snap piece. :) Only later did I see the embossing inside. The dual zippers on the front work, but go nowhere--there are no pockets there. Closed, it measures 7.75 by 4.

It looks authentic. I'd like to see how you rehab it.

Hi, I would like to have this Coach City Bag authenticated if y'all would be so kind. I researched creeds and serial numbers, and it doesn't seem like they match up - it seems like the number pattern should be xxxx-xxx based on when the City Bag debuted and the scheme that Coach was using at the time.

Item: Coach City Bag
Listing number: 234707313370
Seller and site where listed: eBay - debsw52 (I have seen on here that fakes have been listed in the past by this seller so I'm nervous)

It's authentic. The city bag debuted around 1987. The serial number is consistent with late 80s or early 90s.

There's nothing wrong with the formatting of the serial number. It was made either in the late 1980s or in 1992-93.

Hello authenticators,
I was hoping someone would be kind enough to take a look at this bag I recently purchased. Upon arrival and closer inspection I don’t believe it’s an authentic Coach bag.

Item: Becket bag
Listing No.: Unsure
Seller and Site: megssallen on Poshmark
Link: https://posh.mk/qBbSANqwdub
Comments: It was hard to see the creed in the listing as it’s very faint but upon arrival I noticed the font was way off, the leather was thin, the stitching was messy, hang tag wasn’t correct and the zipper pull wasn’t correct. Main photos are in the listing but I am also attaching a few additional photos of these details listed above. Thank you so much for your help!

Sorry, it's fake.

Not only is the leather part of the zipper pull wrong, but so is the metal pull ring.

Not only is the font used in the serial number stamp much too thick, but the entire serial number 012-3445 is a KNOWN always-fake number and has been listed as one on the Daria48 Fake Coach numbers List for at least 10 years. AND since all of those 012-3445 fakes seem to have come from the same source they probabably all have the same mistakes. In fact, even though I can't read the words in the creed stamp in your purchase, I'd be willing to bet that in the line that includes "scars, scrtches, veins and wrinkles" the word "scrtches" is missing the letter "a" just like all the other fakes with the same fake number.

Get your money back. It's another example of why we don't recommend Poshmark.

Learn to check the Salearea Coach Guides and the Daria48 Fake Numbers List BEFORE you buy whenever possible, the Salearea Guides thread link is Pinned at the top of every page in this thread and the Daria48 List is in the same thread.

Hello authenticators,
Could anyone please help me authenticate this black 9927 Coach bag? Thanks in advance and really appreciate it!
Item: Coach 9927 bag
Number: J5C-9927
Seller and site: crmrn758 @Poshmark
Link: https://posh.mk/zuEFE1nBdub
Dimensions: 10’4” by 10’ by 3’10”.
Comment: The quality of the leather is very different from my another tan 9927 bag (A0X-9927), and some sutures are very rough, which are the reasons make me worried. The pictures are not very clear in the list, so I will attach more pictures photoed by myself. Thanks very much for your kind help!

It's authentic. It was made 5 years earlier and at a different factory than your other bag, which might account for the differences. The leather may feel thinner on this bag because it is older and drier.
