Comments:
Not an authenticator, but did you also notice what appears to be broken stitching in the 8th photo? A lined bag could make broken stitching a challenge to fix or have fixed. But take a look as I could be imagining something that isn't there.
Thank you, thank you, DL Harper, the stitching defect is a great catch. I thought I was just discoloring/slight damage to the leather. But then I also recently returned a bag which had what looked like stains, turned out to be holes in the piping. I decided that was not a go on nubuc leather .
The bag is authentic but I'm not a rehabber and don't know whether the stains will come out or if the side of the bag is repairable.

I'm not a rehabber but those stains look like they've been there a while, maybe from rubbing against something ink-y? I have a gut feeling that trying to get those stains out may take some of the color with it. Without knowing exactly what caused the stains, trying to remove them can just cause more problems. JMO.

ETA - I DID try to get some dark marks out of a light-color Sonoma back in my early collecting days and it didn't end well, so maybe I'm a bit over-cautious. That pebbled leather can get damaged more easily than the regular smooth leathers.

The seller seems to sell a lot of "project" bags as well as some fakes. They may not be as careful buying pre-owned bags to re-sell as they should be.

Another opinion: I think the stains aren't just on top of the leather - they have damaged the texture, like a burn or a chemical burn.

Thanks BeenBurned, Hyacinth and whateve for the authentication and your input on the stains. It actually looks like axle grease to me, but there IS also damage to the leather itself at places, though probably not very noticable if the stains were removed. Since I was not going to pay anywhere near what the seller wanted, I thought about it being a project bag, with the possibility of re-dying should all else fail
But then perhaps I should concentrate my energies on a more worthwhile subject. You ladies truly are a priceless resource for Coach buyers.

Genuine Waverly Bag style 4133 made in 1996.

And once again, Entrupy shows their lack of concern with important details. They can't even put the correct serial number on their certificate. They list it as G6M-4135, which would make it a Promenade Bag from the Manhattan Collection.

I have a bag here if anyone's willing to check this out. Thank you so much!

Comments: Mentioned that it's authentic and brought from the US though I don't know what's the model called (can someone help identify?). Also one thing to note is that seller claims there was a care card but unfortunately the bag was accidentally washed with it inside, which destroyed the care card

Although I don't see red flags with the bag you asked about, I have a hard time recommending purchases coming out of the Philippines as some of the fakes have been very close.

Also, though I'm not expert in LV, I am sure these listings from seller @ronirivera are fake.

Personally, I'd be very wary buying highly faked items from region where fakes are common and from sellers who have other fakes.

It's so sad, really. I was reading an article the other day which gave tips on buying contemporary and luxury goods and it suggested looking for those COA's to prove authenticity. It's a shame that the bad actors are being bankrolled by some larger institutions, encouraging them to proliferate. I also wonder how often COA's by these companies are challenged in the legal realm, like small claims court for example or even super pricey works or art. It'd be interesting to see if the legal system by and large takes them at face value. At any rate, thank you very much Hyacinth! I appreciate you!:wave::wave:

No worries, and thank you so much for checking this! I also know the situation with these thrifts in this region, it's getting so hard to distinguish original vs non-original products there so it's been very confusing to me whether I should push through with a purchase or not  again, thank you for going the extra mile to check the other seller's listings too!

It's a genuine Compartment Bag, style 9850 and made in the late 1980s or maybe around 1992. Here's a 1989 catalog page, click on the thumbnail to enlarge:

Comments: I would really appreciate it if someone could authenticate this purse. I live in Germany and would like to start collecting vintage Coach. Unfortunately, those don‘t come up too often on the resale sites. I‘m hoping this is an authenticate Willis. Thank you.

My old browser will not show any of the photos except the first one. If you can save abd post a large copy of the seller's photo of the creed stamp and serial number stamp from inside the bag, I will try to authenticate it. You can use the Reply button to add the photo to a post.

Or one of the other authenticators may be able to see the entire listing.
