Did you see the reference to the photographer? Maybe she pays by the picture.
I missed that credit to a photographer, but I'll opine. If those pictures were taken by a professional photographer, I'm shocked. With the cameras that are out today, it's not difficult to take good clear and well-focused pictures as well as clear macro pictures.

Item: Vtg. Rare Earliest 1960's COACH Pre-Creed Collectors Crossbody/Shoulder Handbag
Listing: 191337299031
Seller: jkokah

I am wondering if this is authentic. If it is, can you please let me know a time frame of when it was made?

Also, like a lot of coach purses, does this one have a specific name?

TIA
It's authentic. We don't have names for many of the early Coach bags. I think this one is from the early 70s.

Hi, i have a question about this Lunch Box. Text on the creed looks good to me, serial number is correct, but what about the font in which numbers are printed and letter N with a very stretched "little o" next to it? Is it still possibly an authentic bag? Thanks in advance for looking at it!

It is fake. The font is incorrect for the factory. We've noted the large "o" with the long underline on other fakes. This is one of those styles that is often faked so you have to be really careful with them. There are few other things wrong with the bag besides the creed.

Compare the following creeds.

The first is from the listing in question, dueus30. The second if from a bag with the same serial number. I believe bag #2 is authentic.

The bag from dueus30 is fake.

Thank you! I was thinking the wrinkled leather on the side looks weird but maybe just from storage. I already had bad luck with post-94 Coaches in this color, but this creed reads so real :(((

Usually wrinkled leather doesn't prove anything. Creeds can only be compared to other creeds made around the same time at the same plant. Many counterfeiters copy the body of the creed perfectly but make mistakes in the number.

Look at the ends of the zipper. On authentic versions of this bag, the zipper stop is present at both ends. Another thing to look at is the zipper pull. On classic bags, Coach zipper pulls are sewn all the way around. On many fakes like this one, the stitching is open at the part nearest the zipper.

I see.. thank you! I bet they somehow got a hold of the authentic creed, maybe an earlier format that Coach stopped using (?)

Item: COACH Authentic Pearlized Bleecker Demi Zip Handbag Purse PINK
Listing number: 151730557515
Seller: gigicouture303

Comments: Looks like this could be another Italian Bleecker pearlized napa bag for my research. It should be interesting to rehab if it's authentic. Thank you for taking a look, experts! :flowers:

I agree with Whateve, there's no way I'd advise buying that without a clear photo of the entire serial number - the style number should be 6151. The bag's lining isn't right either compared to other 6151s and 6152s. So unless it's a pilot bag there's a chance it might not be authentic.

I think the creed wording is wrong for pearlized leather. There isn't enough of the creed shown to see the style number.

I just got a clear pic of the serial number from the seller.
