Hello there Authenticators,
Is the extra faint serial number of this bag a red flag or just a factory manufacturing defect? Thx so much for checking it.

Seller is linznessmonster

Please post a copy of the seller's photo of the creed and serial number.

These pics were copied from the seller's post. I also added two other shots. I can't make out much from the faint serial numbers. Thanks Hyacinth!

Is there anything stamped on the back of the buckle, such as "solid brass"? And are the grommets on the strap the same brass color as the rest of the strap hardware or are they more silver than brass? It doesn't look like there are indentations on the back of the turnlock but the seller's photos aren't as clear as I'd like.

I can't read the serial number at all, so unless there's some other problem I'll have to let another authenticator take a look. I'm not comfortable when a frequently-faked style has a serial number I can't read. Sorry, hope someone else can help.
I'll preface my comments with my well known and vocal opinion of Poshmark. I don't recommend the site!

Call me suspicious but I question when sellers have a lot of Coach listings, most of which have very clear creed pictures.

Yet this listing of a highly and closely faked style shows a totally illegible creed and what appears to be a photoshopped serial number.

The fact that linznessmonster also has this listing of an obvious fake tells me she doesn't verify the legality and authenticity of her items before listing them:

I can't say whether the "Taft" bag is authentic or not but I'd insist on a full and as legible-as-possible creed and serial number.

Hello! I appreciate any insight into this little bag.

Coach Red Regina
I can’t find a listing number.

I’m wondering about authenticity, but also the restoring with ‘non silicone’ products.
Thank you!
Non silicone is a good thing. Some conditioners, including Coach original conditioner, contain silicone, which can destroy leather over time. It looks a bit too shiny to me though.

Dear Authenticators, would you please take a look at this ? Thanks in advance.

It's fine.

Please authenticate this Madison Copley style# 4414.

The photos look ok to me so I purchased it. Seller is : natsuyo_japan, she has 100% positive feedbacks.

It raised red flag for me after finding multiple listings of the identical bag from different sellers (see attached listing links). I contacted seller to inquire about one multi listing, now the listing I purchased showing “ 1 sold , 1 available “ . Is it possible to edit after a listing is sold? . Yet they still use the same photos. Also seller messaged me to let me know it will take 15 business days for her to ship out the bag, I can add more bags anytime before that.

Anyone dealt with this seller before?

Thanks.

Could you authenticate this? Can you tell me the style and the year it was manufactured. I believe it is a vintage City Bag.
Listing: vintage coach saddle tan leather flap crossbody shoulder purse
Seller: theplasticageshop

Thank you very much

Genuine, made in 1987 or early 1988. It looks like it has the shorter 36-inch strap.

OOps just saw another one - thanks in advance

Comments: Too good to be true ???

Genuine, but it's a Pocket Purse, not a City Bag. It was made in 1998.

Already purchased from eBay seller pett-chan. Chunky Case in Kiwi. This one has no embossed stamp on the outside. These are seller’s photos, I haven’t received it yet.

The bag you purchased is fine. I've seen this before with Japanese sellers. I have no idea what is going on. I wonder if those other listings will eventually be ended.
