No it's not a "legacy" anything, it's just a Chelsea Hippie Flap in the 2000 Holiday catalog. I don't have a scanner and can't post a copy.

You mentioned City Bag in your original post and I said it looked genuine. If I thought that it wasn't a City Bag i would have mentioned that.

From the angle the last 2 photos were taken from it doesn't even look like a City Bag. The angle changes the apparent shape of the bag and makes it look triangular or trapezoidal instead of oval or rectangular, as if it was narrower at the base than at the top.

The bag is authentic but I can't even guess what the marks are. It doesn't appear to be ink to my eyes.

Thank you BeenBurnded for your time and expertise. It did not exactly look like a pen mark to me either, but what do I know - there might be pens out there I have never met .
